Slide closes when lifeguards go off duty, usually around 8 or 9pm.

Rules for main pools changed WDW wide last November. Pool (and slide) is open until 11pm with lifeguards on duty. At 11pm they kick everyone out and you can no longer use the main pools after hours.

Hi!
I'm sorry if this is posted elsewhere on this topic already, I tried searching for some info and was overwhelmed by bus posts!

I'm staying at Coronado in September I'm starting to figure out my morning routine (I'm a pretty crazy planner haha) If I want to be at each park for rope drop, I need to figure out how long the bus rides are from the resort to each park.

Obviously I don't know which Coronado bus stop I'll be closest to yet, but if someone happens to know the general travel time between Coronado and each park, that would be super (and I'm sorry again if this has already been discussed).

MK: 23 (32)
Epcot: 20 (28)
DHS: 18 (26)

Yes, the entire resort is surrounded by parking.

DHS: 18 (26)
AK: 18 (27)

Those times are estimates that including waiting for the bus. The driving times are significantly less. DHS is literally 5 mins away, Epcot 7-8 mins, AK 8 mins, and MK 12 mins. CSR is the most centrally located resort.

There are tons of open spaces to fly kites. The pool has activities like trivia, life size checkers and chess games, movies etc. i think you will find plenty to do. Marshmallow roasts, crafts, etc

Towels are available at the Dig Site. They don't want you to take towels from the rooms. I never bring my own towels; they take up too much real estate in my suitcase.

Is Peppers still a la cart? Visited in 2012 in December, and the counter service buffet was excellent. Wish they'd revert.

We're planning to bring our swimsuits in our carry-on's so we can swim and relax when we get to the resort. Are there lockers or something we can put our bags in and a changing area in case we can't get into our room yet? Our flight lands at noon so by the time we get there we will probably be able to check in but just in case we can't, we'd still like to swim.

You can leave your luggage at the bell stand at the resort and it will be delivered to your room when it's ready.

We stayed at CSR a few years ago & when I visited the restroom/locker room by the main pool, I remember thinking if we had a late departure flight that it would be convenient to be able to clean up there after a visit to the parks.
