I was there in August. The concourse feels so dated almost like it's stopped in time.

While I was there in October I saw several Disney Employees/Contractors(Not in castmember uniforms were in business professional street clothes) with clipboards standing around in a circle pointing at various things by the chairs/couches just north of the two gift shops.

Assuming they were talking about future improvements to the concourse, carpet, ceiling, etc etc.

Wasn’t this an independent thread at first as well as being in the CR thread? I think that due to the topic it deserves to be its own thread. Guests at CR aren’t the only ones wondering whether services will be held at WDW.

ETA I don’t routinely read the CR thread, so I wouldn’t have known without seeing the original separate post this morning. I found out it had been consolidated because someone had a question about the location, and I looked for it!

Ah, that’s where I read it - I do read that thread every day.

Hopefully people wondering about Christmas services at WDW will find it, or at least will ask about it so someone can refer them to one of those posts.

No, only the Theme Park View rooms face MK/Seven Seas Lagoon and have a fireworks view. Water View rooms are on the other side of the building facing Bay Lake/the pool/marina. Water View rooms have a great view of the nightly Electrical Water Pageant. Technically you can see higher Epcot fireworks way off to the right, but you're too far away for it to be any sort of legitimate view.

The Blue Flag boat connecting CR-FW-WL runs from 3pm-10:45pm daily.

Actually from Jan 12 through early April the boat dock at the Wilderness Lodge is under refurbishment. The boat dock is unavailable from Jan 12-Jan 30. (I guess it's open after that but still under construction till April?)

Disappointing as we have a stay coming up next week and BLT and some of our party were hoping to go to Geyser Point.

Yes there is a WL Bus at the Resort Bus loop at MK but they might be offering bus service directly from the Contemporary to the WL after 3 PM while the Blue Flag boats are unavailable to the WL Jan 12-Jan 30. There may be signage posted at the boat dock or by asking at the Front desk.

Probably just uber/lyft or Minnie van. I’m not sure exactly where regular Uber/lyft drop off though.

That would be the most direct mode of travel. What did you have in mind?

You could use the Epcot Monorail from the TTC after you tranfer from the Resort Monorail. At Epcot you could catch a HS bus beginning at 10 AM.
