Thanks

I was just wondering if all the rooms at the Contemporary have computers with internet access? We are staying in the tower
What's the view like from the 4th floor?Mercy, if you mean the observation deck at the very top of the CR, that is reserved for diners at the California Grill. The deck on the 4th floor is open for all.
I would love to hear EVERYTHING: the good and BAD for your CR stay. I'm reading lots of "not so good" lately, and it has me a bit worried for our Feb trip (Tower MK view).
EXACTLY! We are on the DXDDP in Feb. GR called and said they would have them, even though I was certain that CR fan's info was correct that they wouldn't (and he was right). So now I'm waiting to see how they handle the situation. So my question is what are they going to do for those guests staying at Disney on the Deluxe Dining Plan where we are guaranteed a mug?

The bad for me, no refillable mugs like I was told there would be in an email from Disney, I was very pissed about that. And the soda they do have in the fridge are not very cold at all! Very lack of hot food to choose from at the grab and go, I don't like sandwiches, and I really wanted a quick hot breakfast once in a while. Didn't happen. I hated the lack of drawer space, it was only me and my 2 kids, we didn't even bother taking our cloths out of our suite case because there was only 2 drawers for cloths, the sinks were too low, and I'm only 4'11"!! My shirt would get wet on the bottom because it would end up in the sink when I was brushing my teeth. The air conditioning doesn't stay on, it's weird. If those were queen size beds in our room they sure didn't look like it. I have a queen size bed at home, and the bed I slept in was smaller then mine.
The good, it's a very nice short walk to and from MK. We walked it when there were long lines after the fireworks. Love having the monorail, it was so easy to get to and from epcot and MK having that right there. It will be hard to go back to busing after this, LOL!! It was nice to have the MK view, but not sure if I would bother getting it again. Some people may like watching the fireworks from their room, but it's not the same as being IN MK for the fireworks, that's just my personal feelings though. We did have a blast watching the afternoon lighting storms though.
I worried about the noise I hear lots of people complain about, I never heard any construction noise, or people noise, or Chef Mickey's while in our room, and we were on the 6th floor. We could feel the monorail running though, nothing that bothered me. The first time I didn't know what it was, I was laying on the bed and wondered why it was vibrating!!![]()
I personlly felt bad about spending the money I did on this resort at this time. I wish I had tried it after all the work was done. It's got lots of contruction going on on the 4th floor, and it's not pretty. And the lack of drinks esp. cold drinks was a big problem for me, and also lack of hot quick foods.
I'm trying not to let this stay at the CR sour my opionion of it for a future try once all the work is done.
If you have any more questions, let me know.
What is the Outer Rim Grill? Haven't heard about that? And they will have mugs?
Thanks for the clarification. The outer rim is the bar next to Mickeys Cafe. I meant to say the Food part of the Food and Fun Center was closed in July to be converted to a new table service restaurant on the 4th floor. It's scheduled to be completed in December but I was just there 9/15/07 and it doesnt look to be on scheduleThe front desk did say they would have Mugs there and fountain drinks.
