I’ve never stayed in a TP View but from the pictures I’ve seen I think I might like it better if the parking lot wasn’t right there. I know that’s no way to avoid that but that’s just what I get from the pictures. Last time I stayed in a Lake view and loved waking up to the lake and pool in the morning.
True indeed. Lots of parking lol. I guess since you are up so high it is not as noticeable compared to other resorts. DD fav is cr tpv, dh is gf but mine is Poly view from Hawaii. I love the "low across the lake" look.

Yeah I’d love to stay at the TP View at the Poly once the renovations are done. Right now I’d go with a lake view at BLT or CR. *Technically* the lake view can be a TP view because you can see Epcot waaaay off in the distance lol

Yeah, parking lots and bus beeps. :-)

It is weird, I look at my CR TPV pictures and I’m like “gosh, that seems like a lot of parking lot” but when I’m there, I don’t really notice it at all - it’s such a rather small part of the overall view.

Hard to beat the view on the Lake View side though - so peaceful!

I had lake view booked and was excited about how peaceful it seems. Didn't love that theme park has the parking lot but since it's practically the same price I went with theme park. I'm thinking the night time view can't be beat. My favorite view is Poly Beach for fireworks. Even when we were in Hawaii building I prefer the beach. We would stop in for beverages and desserts and bring them to the beach with us. It was pure perfection.

We were too slow on the draw to snag TPV when we booked CL for the 50th and ended up with Lake View. I was really disappointed at first but then I saw room tours on YouTube and fell in love with the view. Seems so peaceful especially since I like to sit on the balcony with a cup of tea in the morning to start the day.

Here From the Ears is my favorite YT channel for rooms tours btw. They have everything ever on their channel because they did a project where they stayed on property for a whole year at different resorts.

How are the sofa beds in the deluxe room at the CR? Trying to decide btwn that or a regular CR GV room.

We just stayed in a lake view. Loved it! So beautiful looking down at the pool and the lake beyond. And loved watching the boats go to and from FW and WL. And the water pageant at night with a glass of wine on the balcony! Would choose that view again.

Wait... you guys have me nervous. A resort can just close a pool with minimal or NO notice for an entire stay and do nothing for guests?
We are booked for 2nd week in June, and plan on using the pool every day for a mid day resort break and also have one down day we are considering just having it as a resort day vs Blizzard Beach. I’d be irate with Disney if they did that without offering an alternative. I would’ve chosen another resort way back when I booked and if I switched now it’d cost much more money than when I had booked!!

There are two pools but the quiet pool is smaller and does not have a slide.

I know there are only 3 left and have seen pics online, but wondered if anyone had a recent review of the layout, location, etc bc I’m trying to decide btwn a regular garden view or a deluxe garden view for this summer.
I was wonder how the pullout sofa is compared to the daybed for a 10-12 year old as well.
Thanks.

OK here is my earlier post on the 3 Deluxe rooms in the Garden wing.

The 3 Deluxe room are in the same hall segment 5 rooms down the hall and are on the corner facing the pool / garden space. They are rooms 5109, 5209, and 5309. (floor 1, 2, 3). There are two patios for the first floor room. And the two sets of sliding windows on floor 2 & 3 that only open part way with a railing at the door. There are no balconies on any second or third floor rooms in the Garden wing.

Note: They also connect to a standard 2 Queen room at 5108, 5208, and 5308 to make a great "family space". The 5 indicates the Garden wing, and digit 2 indicates the floor 1, 2, or 3.

Here is an image with the location of the 3 Deluxe rooms. The blue arrow shows the walkway from the CR A-frame tower building. The red arrow shows the location of the rooms.

The pull-out sofa has more space but is slightly less comfortable in my group's opinion.

Thanks for the info and pic. I like the location! Going to have to think about that sofa bed...

I had it booked for this month. It was for me and dd. We don’t mind sharing a king and I always wanted to try that room. Looks like a nice location imo , close to lobby and pool. However DH hinted he MAY want to join us which would move the birthday girl , dd to the sofa sleeper . She is not a fan of any so I moved us to the tower .

I have slept on many of the sleepers at wdw . I am not as fussy as my kids lol. The sleeper in the hospitality suite is probably the same. Ds at 16 had it. I would plop on it and chat a bit before bed and it was nice.

I honestly have liked all wdw sleepers. We have had some at non wdw resorts and they are awful!

The biggest complaint is that the bedding is different. Therefore I always call housekeeping for extra blankets. One small one isn’t enough.
