Hi, getting very excited for our stay at BLT next week!! We are in a 1 bedroom. Can anyone tell me about the chair sleeper? Specifically, would it be good for a toddler? DD2 still is in a crib at home, but is too big for a travel crib or pack n play. Thanks!!

We're planning on putting our 12 yr old son in the chair sleeper. My daughters will share the foldout bed. He'd rather be slightly uncomfortable than sleep with his older sister. Lol.

We were in a 1 bedroom at BLT in Sept/Oct and my friend (grownup) slept comfortably in the chair sleeper. he's about 5'6"-ish & confirmed that someone 6' could sleep in it. i'm not sure what requirements @suzymouse724 would need for her toddler. he said it was as good as a regular non-folding bed. i was in the couch sleeper & also felt it was the most comfortable sleeper bed ever. lmk if there are more questions about it.

A family member is at CR tower now and she said that hundreds (?) of buzzards have been camping out on the balconies facing the lake.

Hmm. I was on the 14th floor of CR (the actual tower, not BLT) at the same time, theme park view, and we didn't see more than five or six a day for the entire week. The first couple days we didn't see more than one. They'd sometimes perch on the railing of our balcony, but they never camped out more than a second or two.

We'll be there in two weeks! Garden view in GW. Did you put in your room request when you checked in online? We'd love to have a first floor room so that we have the patio to sit at when the littles go to bed at night. Hope you're having a GREAT time!!!

Hi, I just have a question about sending packages to the CR. I know there is a charge for it (I'm ok with that) and the mailroom is run by a 3rd party company.

I just want to know how strict they are about only holding packages for only 3 days. I think is very hard to perfectly time the package to arrive during that window...If it were a couple of days over the stated 3 day window (hypothetically) would they still hold on to the package or return to sender?

I mailed myself a package last October via USPS and they had it and the front desk, no pickup charge. I mailed it about a week before we left, so was likely there beyond the 3 days.

Thank you very much for your response. I am totally find with paying the storage fee, but I just don't want to order something today/tomorrow and have it arrive well before the expected shipping date, only to find it gone when I get there in a couple of weeks. Just wanted to see how strict the convention centre was on the 3 day policy. I am also going to look into just paying extra for more precise shipping options.

I'm back!! I'm going to do a full TR at some point, but I wanted to share a few things about the CR that might be helpful.

• I loved the ease of getting to the parks. That walkway is GREAT when you walk out of MK and look at the crowd lined up for the monorail. Of course, when you're exhausted, that 8 or so minutes can feel like a marathon!
• We stayed in the Garden Wing, Garden View, room 5107. Not terribly far from the main building, but I would have preferred being closer so I could just fill my mug or bring food back to the room. I still did those things, but it felt like a hassle some days.
• The room was a nice size. We were able to set up a little area for our son's crib that made sure he couldn't see us, which helped him sleep. Well, that and the 5-6 hours of park time! We were able to move the daybed up and put his crib between that and the wall. Added a couple of fleece blankets attached to the wall by 3m hooks, and presto!
  
• The pool was nice. Hot tubs were hot, pool was a little chilly. The slide was fun for my husband and 2.5 year old son. He is a big kid, and seemed fine going down. I did wait at the bottom and grabbed him right away, since he would get dunked a bit. He loved it though.
  
• As others have said, I HATED the sink. So gross. I was constantly trying to rinse out the sink because nothing would drain.
  
• The pocket door to the bathroom was annoying. It was heavy and loud (maybe ours was sticking?) and there was no lock.
  
• You can hear the booms of the fireworks at night, and the sound of the EWP. My son never woke up, but if your kid is a light sleeper they might.
• Contempo Cafe was okay. Seemed to take longer than necessary and the whole 4th floor reminded me of a train station at times. The Wave, however was delightful for the breakfast buffet. Good food and not crowded. Not too expensive, either.

Neat setup for the crib! I'm curious though, did Mousekeeping mess with it at all? My fear is that they'd take it down every day, and I'd have to go back and redo it every night.

Nope! Never touched it or moved the daybed. The fleece blankets just stuck to the fabric of the daybed, so if it fell, no big deal.

I just realized that I never found the Fantasia Market. I didn't go on that side, just into the gift shops. I thought the whole left side was the arcade. Whoops! I thought there was a market too, and I couldn't find it. Duh.

Is the "Express Monorail" different then the regular monorail?

Welcome! I'll add your dates to the Log-o-Rail. Don't give up on applying a discount, your trip is a ways off so the odds are in your favor.

I'm going to add the following to the TRANSPORTATION chapter - thank you for your question!

The Express Monorail runs between the TTC and the Magic Kingdom.
The Resort Monorail runs from the TTC to Poly, then on to the GF and from there to the MK, and finally, CR.
The Epcot Monorail runs between the TTC and Epcot.

So, if we have a PPO ADR at Epcot...we need to take the bus, because we wouldn't be able to get to Epcot early enough, right?

The GV/GW rooms that front Bay Lake have the best GW views, IMHO. We once had a ground floor room at the end closest to the pool. You're literally just steps from Bay Lake. Just call the WDTC and have your request added to your reservation if you'd like a ground floor room.

You sure took a lot of videos - what fun! In the video in the boat from MK to WL, you stated that the monorail was down so you had to take the boat to WL and then the boat to CR. Did you not want to just walk to CR? It would have been MUCH faster. I'll have to post a link in POST 1 to your channel - thank you!

The most reliable and free way to get there is to take the Early ADR bus from CR, just tell the driver where you're going.
