I really want tower club level and my husband only wants theme park view (I could save a bit of money by booking just theme park view - no club level...but I really want to stay on the 14th floor.) From what I read the standard view - king - club level is theme park view - but it seems that category was reworded to resort view. If it really is theme park view, thats great I'll keep my reservation, If not i think i might have to just do theme park view, no club level to appease my other half.
Yes you are correct there are only 2 King rooms and they are both on the 14th (13th floor) with a TPV and are right next to the Tower Club CL lounge.

So you just need to decide which TPV you want to pay for regular TPV (booking category) or that goofy King - with the wrong wording. It has been wrong since they updated the view categories.

I booked the contemporary for october 2024, and the room category i chose was "resort view - king - club level" Which says it could have views of MK or bay lake...Is this accurate?? Keep it. It’s worth the extra $.

Dd and I love that room! We have had both 4911 and 12. The rooms are the same except bathroom. 11 has 1 shower/tub combo and 2 sinks. 12 has the shower/tub combo plus an extra small shower but only 1 sink. Both worked for us.
The 2 main reasons to keep this ? The balcony is far nicer than the other floors. It’s so deep and just so enjoyable!
2nd the food is worth it. Well actually the staff is pretty good too.

If you add in what you’d pay for breakfast and dinner plus waiting in lines for water, coffee soda etc the $ and time savings make it worth it IMO.

Seconding the recommendation to keep it!! Both rooms are TPV (they’re next to one another) with huge, huge balconies. They are well worth the extra cost!! Tower Club is a fave of mine, it tends to be very quiet since there are so few rooms on that floor. I stayed in 4911 in late April and loved it (I deleted most of the pics from my phone but if you search in the CL thread, there are pictures of both rooms - I posted a bunch of shots of 4911). I did keep pics of the fireworks view from the balcony, though. I’m booked in this category at the end of the month and can’t wait - requested 4911 again just because I like the bigger vanity, but either will do!IMG_7248.jpeg

That’s a perfect shot. 👍

That balcony/view is everything. CR is not my favorite resort, but Tower club is my second fave CL. I usually have a solo day or two before meeting family, and it’s a wonderful, usually low-chaos oasis.

I am staying at BLT in a month in a Deluxe Studio - Theme Park View to celebrate my 40th birthday on a girls' trip. Does anyone have a recommendation for what room I should request? This is my first stay at BLT and CR.

What does it mean by "Resort View" in a Club Level room?

I've seen Theme Park View and Water View at the Contemporary. But, Resort View has me confused. (I've already booked it, but am wondering!)

It’s the new “Water View” - it’ll be on on the Bay Lake side of the Tower. (I’m assuming you’re asking about a tower room, not Garden Wing)

Club level resort view is actually water view, I just stayed there in May

What time do the buses start in the morning. We are going to AK tomorrow and with them opening at 7:30, I’m not sure what time we should be down at the stop. Thanks!

2 random questions:

are there stairs in the garden wing to get to rooms on the 2nd or 3rd floor

also are there any rooms in the garden wing that have a desk and chair outside instead of the long sleeper sofa. sometimes I have to do work and would prefer to hvae a desk in the room I know I saw pictures of a long couch and table but was wondering if any garden wing rooms have a desk

I don’t know about desks, but there are both stairs & an elevator in the garden wing.

No desk but the table worked fine for when dd works in the room .

It’s movable and I prefer a chair you could use the one from patio if 1st floor..

If small traveling parties the king rooms IMG_7743.jpeg have an extra chair.

Does anyone have a specific room number that is a garden view water view that has a little bit more square footage or are they all the same size. the deluxe room in the garden wing is sold out for my dates was hoping to maybe request a room that a little bigger if possible

I’m pretty sure all the regular rooms (garden/tower) are roughly the same size and same configuration. Someone said that the garden view bathrooms aren’t big enough for the big tub and therefore all have large walk-in showers. The deluxe room is a little bigger, but since there are only 3 of them, it can be hard to book. So apart from suites and rooms on the 14th floor, I think they are all the same size.
Hopefully someone else can confirm the above and maybe help you out with idea for views/room requests.
