Do they still pipe in the music on the TV? See that 105 is showing ESPN stuff now

When I stayed at the CR in October, the soundtrack to the fireworks show (I assume that's what you're asking?) was shown on channel 105 and I think on another channel.

I was hoping to stay at CR, but with our Cdn dollar the GW is at the top of our budget. We have reservations at AOA for March 2018. We stayed at CR twice before and loved the walk to MK.

No availability yet for GW! Hoping it comes open or a new discount pops up! If not, AOA it is worse things in life right?

The one for New year's was not on 105. The label still showed as wishes but they were airing something from ESPN. It stayed on when fantasy in the sky started too.

Saw all the marathon prep at Epcot as we were headed back to MCO today (have never seen so many orange cones and porta-pottys in my life).

I bet BLT will be a nice home-base for your weekend. Good luck to you and all the runners!

This is probably a silly question, but I am just double checking. We are scheduled to arrive tomorrow night, but it will probably be late (around 10 or 11 PM). There will still be someone working in the lobby who can activate our magic bands, correct? I've already checked in online, but I've always had to have the Bands activated, and I wanted to make sure I could get in my room and not have to sleep in my car. LOL.

We have a 2 bedroom villa booked directly through Disney at BLT. Do I have remind anybody we’re paying on cash and get daily housekeeping (we do, right?)? And if so, who would that be?

Also, how do I tell in my reservation if we’re in a dedicated or lock off? Do I need to call to make sure?

This is our first trip to WDW so I thank you in advance for your help!

You shouldn't have to remind anyone that you are paying on cash and therefore get daily housekeeping.

Now, will you get the daily housekeeping...that is anyone's guess If you don't get it, call housekeeping or go to the front desk

We are staying at Bay Lake Tower June 4th-10th in a one bedroom villa. We rented points for the first time, and we are very excited!!

Have Garden View room for upcoming stay. Anyone know if there are rooms that face the water with a view of Electric Water Pageant? Also, where can I view fireworks from the resort without having a dinner reservation? We're ok with just standing on a balcony or at a window somewhere random.

This is not what it said. It said they would be picking up trash daily (as part of their surveillance program). No daily housekeeping, no bed making, no dish washing, no clean towels, no replenishment of amenities unless it is your actual service day (Day Four, Day Eight, etc). If you want daily housekeeping (and are staying on a DVC reservation), you can pay extra for that service.

It wasn't in Disney Files, it was at the annual member meeting in December.

Holla! Just made our reservation to head home to BLT December 8-15th! Hot darn I love Bay Lake Tower and the CR. I was hoping to snag a value standard view studio like we did in 2015 for this time frame but I accidentally forgot today was our 11 month window and it was lunch time before I realized I hadn't logged on a made our reservation and by then only part of our desired days were available. So we got a lake view studio. A few more points needed but worth it. Can't wait to begin the planning!

Some rooms do face the water, but not at a great angle to see the EWP. Its easily viewed from the beach however. And you can watch the fireworks from the 4th floor observation deck. Enjoy!
