We're considering a stay at th CR for our next trip. Can you tell me if those of you who have stayed in the garden wing missed having a balcony?

Hope you're still having a great vacation. We are at BLT now in a one bedroom lake view and are loving it! The villa is so much bigger and nicer than I thought it would be and we have that lake/monorail side view that is awesome!! Love watching Wishes from the walkway, too!
Yes, you can make FP+ selections 60 days prior to your check-in date for your entire stay (beyond the 60 days).WDWKOOK - you are so sweet (pun intended) to share that recipe. My daughter would adore that cake
Can't wait to make my FP+ selections this weekend. Woohoo!
So - at the 60-day mark I can make selections for all dates of my trip?
We are staying August 6th-12th for our 4th Disney trip. Have stayed previously twice at the Poly & once at the Hilton on property. I always requested a certain longhouse during online checkin at the the Poly, but I'm not sure what I need to know about staying at the CR. We are staying in the tower and have the lake view room & are a family of 5. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I finally worked out my trust issues with strangers online and I rented points for 8 nights at a studio lake view in BLT April 2015. This is my first trip to WDW and I'm so excited for it.
So I'm thinking of "jumping ship" from WL/CL to the CR... (the WL pool is rumored to be under construction, I think, during our stay)... not willing to lose out on a pool during vacation I'm trying to find some other options.
Because it's so late in the game and free dining during our stay, I cannot book a CL room, but I can get a bay lake tower view from WDW direct, but if you go to Southwest or Orbitz you can get a theme park view, why is that?
Can I request it at check-in that I'd pay to be upgraded and pay the price or are the rooms just gone?
From the Room/Rates section of this FAQ:
"When lying on the bed... Odd-numbered Magic Kingdom View beds face toward the MK."
On-line check-in allows you to request "Odd Number Room"![]()
That's just for the CR, though, not BLT, right?
Anyone know how BLT is situated in this respect? Which King beds face the MK, which sofas face the MK? Is there any rhyme or reason to it?
I know that 8022 (2-bedroom, MK villa at BLT) has a Master bedroom that faced CR and the other bedroom (2 queen beds) faced MK![]()
