I love that balcony, it’s so peaceful when things are busy, if you can score a table - don’t know if it would prompt me to change but I know I’d be unhappy if I hadn’t been warned, at least! Points for the CL staff!

Love that balcony too. It does give me pause about booking something there for the summer. @GADisneyDad14 did you get any sense of a timeline that the balcony will be unavailable?
Agree that I’m glad they are letting people know. It’s certainly just a small thing and many people might not care about it, but at CL prices, I like to know everything.

I haven't read that other thread and may be missing something in translation with the original question, but I routinely book a room only and pay online all the time. I've never had to call to make a payment

Out of curiosity are you outside of the US? We're APs so always book room only and have never had the option to pay online. Wondering if maybe it's a US thing that we have to call?

Is it possible you have a ticketless package & not a true room only reservation? I’ve booked rack rate, AP, GP & BB room only reservations & have never been able to pay online or in the app for any of them.

I like to pay online for a reservation as I go along. I have booked a CL with Dining Plan -- making it a package.

You don't need to add a Dining Plan to make it a package. You are able to book what is commonly known as a ticket-less package. That puts you in a package and get all the benefits of paying for a package, 30 day final payment, and only a $200 deposit per reservation.
