Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Ah ok, so do they rotate the same food every 3 days for every resort or is it just some resorts? Split stay makes sense!

Ok, 2 best ones? 😊

Yes, all club levels are on a three day food rotation, but all clubs don’t serve the same food. BC/YC are very similar, if not the same, with the offerings. Contemporary has some more unique offerings (sushi), and Coronado Tower, while not deluxe, has some more exotic items for club level standards. AKL does butter chicken and some other regional items. BWI is one of my favorites, mainly for the CMs, location, and ambiance. Poly has always been too crowded for my liking, but loads on the forum love it. I’d avoid GF while all the lobby construction is occurring, but the CL there is quite lovely. I generally pick a CL according to what our park days will be like and how much time we’ll be spending in the resort.

I gotta stay off this forum! We have a trip in two weeks and are staying at the Dolphin for the first four days with a fantastic rate, switching to Chronos Club for the last three days to chill. I keep telling myself I’m super-pleased with the low cost of lodging, but then I come here and immediately check to see CL rates at other resorts. I have enough Disney Reward dollars to cover the difference, but that would also buy a bunch of impulsively decided upon, unnecessary souvenir items…like the Dooney duffle bag that I thought was a great idea after completing a monorail crawl.

My favorite split stay is GF/BC. But a split between any MK area resort with an Epcot area resort is a great split. You would only have to take buses to AK and Disney Springs if you do that split. :)

I'm looking at doing a 7 night CL stay next year but I'm having a hard time deciding on the best one to book. Any advice please?
Do you have a favorite park? We have stayed Poly and Yacht Club club levels. Overall, I enjoy Poly as a resort more and their club lounge is great. We love watching the MK fireworks from the lounge with dessert. Dealing with crowds on Main Street to see fireworks is not my jam.

BUT…Epcot is my favorite park. I really enjoyed YC and the ability to just walk into Epcot and take the boat to HS. We could see Epcot fireworks from our balcony. Not a perfect view, but good enough.

I agree with this! GF for elegance, size of the lounge and rooms, etc, but Contemporary’ Tower Club is also fabulous. BC/YC are not my favorites (I’m doing Boardwalk for the first time in 3 weeks and have high hopes.

Again, this is for me, though, and it just depends what might be best given the makeup of their group.

Magic Kingdom is my favourite park, followed by Animal Kingdom. I like the idea of Poly CL as its very accessible, not sure about some of these lounges that are though the lobby and at the top of the building?

We find Yacht Club reasonably accessible. Easy to get to the elevators and then up to Club level.

Poly CL is in its own building, but at that resort the guest rooms are in several buildings. At most of the other resorts, everything, lobby, guest rooms, restaurants etc are all in 1building. In those resorts, the CL rooms & lounge are on a dedicated, restricted floor. So yes, you go thru the lobby to get to your room, whether it’s CL or not.

Then I would look into a split stay between Poly and AKL. AKL has never been on my radar as AK is our least favorite park. I also personally don’t want to rely solely on bus transportation if we’re paying deluxe prices. But I’ve heard the resort is beautiful! And if you’re AK fans you would be right there.

Wilderness Lodge CL is one of my favorites. I actually prefer it when doing the CL add on when you
check into the lobby. (Currently $149 per room/per night) I don't like the CL floor enclosed balconies; they
makes me feel like I put myself into a time out. For the $149, you can book the room you want -- fireworks view, water view, etc --
then pay the add on. The food is good and I like the cobbler and ice cream.

I've done WL/AKL split stay -- very enjoyable. AKL great service, food and savannah view.
Board Walk Inn and GF or Contemporary CL split stays are also fun and maximize your park time.
We used to go to Poly CL every year. As I've gotten older, it's become too hectic.
There's no wrong choices, though! I've loved every CL stay for different reasons.
This is still one of the busiest threads on the Resort board -- CL gets pretty addicting....:cool1:

Good video of Chronos Club offerings at CSR. Like us she has been to many cl’s so her info is appropriate.

The room is the deluxe suite, we have done those and it’s nice to have the 1/2 bath off the living space. For those interested the rooms are on all floors/not on cl floor. There are 2 versions (shapes) but either one would be nice.

Getting excited for 2 upcoming CSR stays. One with dh is Non CL and then DD and I will def enjoy the mimosas in the lounge for our Club Level stay,

Now I’m really excited for our upcoming Chronos CL stay! We generally stay in the deluxe suite and love it for the extra relaxing room and extra 1/2 bath. This time I was able to save some $ and book a regular queen cl room. I’ve never seen that available to book on any of our past stays.

Well I love the YC. From lobby to CL, easy elevator ride, CL concierge is right there off the elevator. CL has been recently rehabbed so it’s nice and vibrant. There is also a CL lounge balcony to sit unlike other CL lounges. Food is on a three day rotation, pretty predictable, decent selections for Breakfast and dinner little bites. Midday selections are okay with chips, cookies, fruit, lunchables, veggie and dips, homemade potato chips. Deserts at night have a very good selection. YC pool Stormalong Bay will have their major rehab completed and is the best pool on property. You can walk to Epcot and HS or take the boat and use have use of the skyliner. Boardwalk has some nice restaurants plus you have a nice selection of restaurants at BC/YC plus your in walking distance of the Swan/Dolphin restaurants. It’s a beautiful walk early morning around the boardwalk and depending on your room view you may see the Epcot fireworks nightly. Nice selection of different pubs/bars and the CM’s are outgoing and extremely helpful. As u can tell I am a big fan of this area.
