Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

The crane’s a little annoying, tbh. But not the end of the world (heh heh), especially if you’re a frequent-y visitor. I could easily look past it. If you were paying for TPV on a lower floor, though, it might be a bummer.
I’m mostly worried about being moved lol

Oh, from Tower to Atrium? You’ll be fine. And the food has been great. The club feels smaller relative to guest #, but I have never had an issue finding space (I have a super-$ scuba trip to Asia in 3 weeks and have been avoiding/masking as needed after an illness-ruined trip last year, and the lounge area has been zero issue).

Also, we talked to someone in the elevator the other day who’s currently in a 1-BR suite on 14, and I have not seen the crane facing the building at all.

Yes! And that’s great to hear! My trip is at the end of the month

Just a note that there are (3) 1 Bedrooms TPV on the 14th floor. (2) TPV rooms on the north end of the building. The third is right next to the 2 Bedroom you have reserved. That Pesky crane is still down near the south end.

Ok, incoming glut of posts - CR Atrium Club.

I missed taking pics of apps when I arrived on Friday, I was headed to a Tron LL, but they were familiar - I had some sushi (California and veggie rolls) and ran. Desserts included the below (chocolate pecan caramel tart was delish), also familiar, as well as cannoli (I ate 3, yum), and a chocolate mousse cup thingie.

Of note: I was not in the lounge mid-day, so no snacks pics, but there was always free-pour bubbly available in the lounge when the space was “open” - also some behind the CM desk for mimosas - and free-pour wine was always available when I popped in after parks in the afternoon, around 4.

CR Atrium Club breakfast Saturday. I don’t do breakfast, but it’s always tough to walk away from the hash browns and cheese grits! Not a lot of variety at breakfast, but honestly, I am down with that. Thinking you will understand soon.

CR Atrium Club Saturday apps - new stuff, served on Saturdays only per the lovely chef. The hot honey chicken was amazing.

Thanks for all the pics. The corned beef hash looks new (and good). I like the new signs they have next to the dishes with the CR logo.
Hope you had a fun trip!

Saturday night desserts. I ate a peanut butter tart, yum, but I wasn’t feeling dessert-y.

CR Atrium Club Sunday breakfast. Again, the torture of that hash browns casserole. I need to buy clothing with more lycra. I walked by, mourning their loss in my belly.

I spoke to one of the chefs when we were there in November. All the chefs were very nice and really appreciative of feedback about some of their new dishes. They were really trying to create some new things that guests would like. He was trying out a citrus or pineapple pork dish that I complimented him on. Looks like you had some really nice food. Hope you enjoyed your stay.

Definitely some new dinner things. Looks good. Glad they brought the meatballs back—my DS missed those last time.
There was a kid absolutely putting those and sushi away. It was fabulous.

CR Atrium Club Saturday apps. Ok. Let’s talk about this chimichurri beef. Seriously, eat 3 of these. This was great. Not CL great. Like real world great!

CR Atrium Club Dessert Sunday - snapped pics as I stopped in to get bubbly for my Cake Bake coconut cake (loved it), but tried nothing here.

Had both the chimichurri beef and the papaya pork (that is the dish the chef was testing out)/and can attest that they were both seriously great. Went back for multiple portions of both.

CR Atrium Club, Monday apps. I’m a fan of the chicken salad (heat!). But the honey chicken and chimichurri beef….. mmmmmm.

Bottom line, this place was improved on our last visit in August, and it’s more so now, IMO.
