Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Hi all! We're staying WL CL for the first time in several years and I would like to touch base with them prior to arrival with some specific requests for the room. Do they still reach out prior to arrival? If not, does anyone know how best to contact them other than Central Res? Much appreciated!

They called me the day before I arrived - got here Wednesday. I had sent an email to signature services a few weeks ago with some requests, and the WL CM calling me didn’t have a record of any of them.

I had the same issue. I called AND emailed DSS (the call was shortly after making our reservation and email was 2 weeks before arrival) due to our severe allergies, just to confirm they were noted. When the AKL CL CM called me the day before arrival, they said I had no notes on my account. Hope you have a great trip!

I got a call the next day after I booked WL CL for my May Trip! I booked this part of my trip in early February.

I of course missed the call, but they left their number to call back if I needed help with anything.

Not specific to WL, but I do two things when I have specific room requests: I email DSS, and I also make a request on Touring Plans. Between them, one will be received. The latter is good about requesting a specific facing direction, and you can also include specific comments (e.g., using the q’s about the Poly just asked, “If possible, we’d like the following, in this order of priority: 1) a 3rd floor room and 2) a room with a walk-in shower. Thank you!”). Don’t forget the thank you . I have had decent luck - although admittedly, my requests tend to be more avoidance of certain individual rooms or characteristics.

I do NOT have new room pix of BWI. They are still using the side where cl rooms are. We were assigned a 3rd floor right right below below the cl lounge and all those rooms haven’t been started. I went to the lobby and no new ones available BUT he kindly moved us to a water view. We are in one of the 4261/3/5 rooms just prior to the cl desk/door. Those have a nice big balcony.


We watched MK’s fireworks from there. The pix don’t do it justice. I kept getting a glare!

So I grabbed dd her lunch and left her to work and found my dolewhip and walked to meet @dispro and hung out at HS with the fam.

I’ll get more pix, DD is in all of them +put some BWI thread .

The cl lounge door is not locked, I peeked.



Oh they left dd this cute bag with some treats for her birthday! Made her day!

*sorry for the ramble , yesterday I was up from 1:30am and I’m still tired. Wish I could sleep but I might as well make coffee! See ya tomorrow when we check into Tower Cl at CR.

Is there a better time to make room requests? We are going in May but I’m not sure how much in advance to reach out.

Touring plans has it set up where you can make the requests any time and then they send it a few days before your trip.

If I’m being honest, I wouldn’t put too much hope on your request. I’ve submitted a few preference requests and it never seems to work out. Last trip at BWI, I asked for an odd numbered CL room. Seems pretty basic, and even without the request, my odds should be 50/50. My room was even. Womp womp.

It doesn’t hurt to submit it, but my advice is to assume that you won’t get what you want so you will be pleasantly surprised if it works out but not starting off your trip on a disappointing note.

Agree with this!! I mean, for all I know, they’re not including the DSS or TP requests in reservation notes. I have had decent luck, but I tend to book exactly what I want to tge extent that’s possible. TP sends automatically at 30 days out, btw. I should add that I have a subscription.

I had a couple of questions for DSS so I emailed them. I and asked about the BWI CL lounge reopening.
It sounds like there may have been an update. Now they are saying they expect it reopen at the end of April.

Definitely not expecting it. We never make requests at Disney just wanted to try for an upper floor this time. Either way it will be a great trip.

Was that the ATL to MCO leg? They've been putting more of those double aisle planes a few times a day on that route lately... I haven't been complaining.

Definitely not expecting it. We never make requests at Disney just wanted to try for an upper floor this time. Either way it will be a great trip.

Obviously YMMV (with thousands of check-ins per day you'll hear every experience possible) but I only add my request(s) via contacting Disney and frankly have pretty good luck with fulfillment over time. 100%, no way - but directionally pretty solid.

I have no clue if my requests ever actually make it to my reservation but I have had a few times where I check in and they say something like "it looks like we should be able to fulfil your third floor request" or something just specific enough to make me think they can see something about my request. But like I said, mileage can always vary!

Thank you- and thanks for sharing your experiences. I only plan to make the request directly with Disney. I figure it can’t hurt to try!

Yep! It was the 10:30 am one.

We did Monsieur Paul instead of cl for today. It was amazing. Pm me if you’d like pix. I took some of every course.

For 2 our total was $548. (Pre tip) It was more than that to upgrade to cl for the 2 nights we had at BWI. (Well they are closed but for other cl resorts)

We had a great view of Epcot . We were there 5:30- 8:15p It was quiet and relaxing. I could not eat most lol. If you follow me you know I’m a light eater. However some of it was best I’ve ever had, The mussels soup was so amazing! I also loved the pear sorbet with a pour of pear cognac on top as a palate cleanser.

We moved to AK tomorrow from HS. Then we move to CR tower cl.

Second floor rooms have sliding doors but no balcony.

Does anyone happen to know if there are any 2 Queen beds club level rooms with a walk in shower?

We stayed at club level in August and we had a bathtub with shower.
