Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Lots of 5pm appies! I posted that earlier . Here is desserts 8-10 and 11-12 added fun.
The lounge had balloons all over and the fun lights!
We ate at 5 and walked mom down for her ride back home . We grabbed a drink for dh from ER and I grabbed a 🍷from the lounge and sat in the lobby and listened to the piano .

We caught the boat and watched HEA from the water !! It was at 6:30. We went into mk just to take pix and then went back to gf . Dh wanted to see citricos and that was fun . I will post pix of the bar seating some point on gf thread this week.
Then I wanted to see desserts .

The 11pm had 2 kinds of chicken wings, ribs, salmon cheeses , meats , veggies , hot dogs for kids too! The desserts were cute too! I enjoyed the view of the fireworks .B723074A-CA67-4A9A-A323-B21EBE6EA71B.jpegAFBD2E7F-1A75-426E-8B3F-1E98FB32DB18.jpegE56934B6-65B3-4457-9463-47A676E83F60.jpeg56A05DFC-202F-4754-A37C-6465892D9B4E.jpeg7F5D0EE4-38A4-4136-A93C-9CA6906A0941.jpeg328C77D2-3F07-48D1-BE35-B1A8FF96B54A.jpeg4527E2E3-78C6-4654-8616-4A6B9ADFD91A.jpeg

If you look back the past 10 ish pages, lots of pics!
Has anyone been to the Chronos Club Level at Gran Destino since the reopening? Curious if the food is still the same or if they added anything new?
We were just there, the food is all tapas style, drink choices were the same as they were when we were there Feb 2020-pre covid.

There was one family who was in the lounge often with us, and we also were at the pool with them Christmas Eve (literally sat across from us). They had two girls (guessing like 9-13 age range?) Was that you? It was Me, DH, DD, DS.
We were at Disney Springs on XMas eve, so that might not have been us, trying to remember who we saw at the club frequently, but that sounds like us, an 8 yr old and an 11 yr old, but our 11 yr old can pass for a HS freshman as she is 5'7

Wow! Well, mine are the exact opposite!! My DD (14) has the personality of a 20 yr. old, but the height of a 10 year old! (Thanks to me!) 🙃 Yeah, I think we definitely saw you guys! Hope you had fun!

Golf gets mentioned occasionally on the thread, so just sharing a recent experience.

DS and I did the 9-hole Oak Trail walking course the other day (fist time at a Disney course). What a fun experience and a great way to do something a little different for folks that aren't all parks all the time.

We had one of the first tee times of the AM thinking it'd be a little slower and better for a younger golfer. Wrong! The place was hopping at 6:45AM with tons of people showing up/preparing for their morning rounds. But we really enjoyed the course and the overall experience. We needed to rent clubs and all that and it was all super easy. We'll definitely do this again on future trips.
We were done by 9:30 or so, grabbed a breakfast sandwich at Chip n Dale's Cafe (which was really good, BTW) - then back to the room, shower, and Blizzard Beach by around 10:30.

Doesn't get much better than that!

PS: It was also fun that evidently the overnight valet at Poly "didn't show up" so I had to wait at the front desk in line behind 5 other people at the front desk at 6am to get my keys. Good times, and a good reminder for me how thin staffing is at that early hour (and a reminder to not valet the night before if I have an early tee time!) Talk about Disney problems. :-)

It seems like you've been at WDW for the past 3 months!

Can the Club Level concierge desk arrange for transportation to the golf courses? The golf website mentions free transportation for resort guest, so I'm not sure if we arrange it ourselves somehow of if CL can help!

No personal experience here, but from the wording on the website, I'm going to 'guess' you may have better luck with the valet / bell services desk since they are the gateways to taxis. I guess it's possible a CL CM could assist in calling down to the valet desk? Probably one of those things that doesn't get requested all that frequently so may not be something immediately top of mind for a CL CM. I'm just guessing though.

Complimentary transportation via taxi is available to Guests of select Walt Disney World® resort hotels. You may request a ride at the Valet Desk or from Bell Services at select Resort hotels, and in the Pro Shop or from any golf operations staff members at the golf courses. Guests are advised to check with Guest Services or the Concierge for any transportation options offered by their hotel.

Golf Day Guests who wish to arrange their own transportation to the golf courses will find that there is no charge for parking at the golf course itself or when going through the Auto Plaza on the way to the golf courses.

Yes, my husband got his golf transportation "vouchers" from the bellman desk.

So, I just went ahead and canceled my GDT CL reservation and booked BWI CL instead. The lounge itself was beautiful, and we enjoyed hanging out there and playing board games with the kids. The CM’s were also wonderful… but between me and my kids, we didn’t eat a whole lot. (Although, DH did love the food). Also didn’t feel like they offered a whole lot of options. I would definitely go back if they change things up at some point, though… hoping they do. 🤞🏻

Sorry for not knowing this, what resort is BWI? I agree that the food options for kids was pretty much nothing besides uncrustables and the pasta, well, plus the cookies and mousse, is BWI deluxe?

Boardwalk Inn! Yes, it’s a Deluxe resort. DS and I couldn’t even eat most desserts because of allergens 😕

My husband usually just goes down to bell services and they send him in a cab. I

Is your son a decent golfer? My 14 yo recently started but is not good by any stretch lol. My husband would love nothing more then to golf with him at disney.

Quick question please...
Booking CL 2 adults with with 2 of the grand girls. 10 and 14 at time of travel, April '22 week before Easter. (I know, I know, but their school has like no time off!)
So which resort and why?
WL Old Faithful
or
POLY King Kamehameha

I know it's going to be busy no matter where we stay, but looking at least crowded pool during crazy busy times, and ease of transport, as well as Disney immersion.
Please help!
And thanks in advance!

Maybe they are trying for a different demographic with the higher prices and decreased kids' offerings, like couples or smaller groups willing to spend big on a special event trip.

Before it was an ok value for families with the added convenience. At the current prices, I think the value is harder to extract and the conveniences are limited.
