Ah yes, my old room 4309, felt like 5 miles from the lounge....memories. Almost makes me wish I had moved my trip to AKL CL, but then I remember that the food gives me mad heart burn because I'm weak and I should probably just stick to convenient dole whips this trip. I will live vicariously through you, I hope this puts a lot of fears at rest for CL returning, I do want to stay at some CL soon in the future.

I'm arriving at Poly on Sunday, I plan on having dole whip more than I probably should. The joys of solo trips "why yes, I think I will have a dole whip in bed, what a great idea....yes, yes, marvelous idea I'm glad you thought of it Sarah.......you're very welcome, Sarah, any time"

Dole whip for breakfast, or in my case the orange version. (ETA When did Disney change the name? It's now "Dole Whip Orange " and I'm sure it wasn't that before.)

I’ve only had the Orange at MK, of course haven’t looked real close either, I only ever get dole whip at MK and Poly (aside from once a while back pre-covid I think at AK, but I had a few drinks and that’s all a bit hazy)

I believe that was the citrus swirl? I'm in the vast minority of people that hate dole whips. I've had them several times, all sorts of ways and just do not like them at all. I think there's a booth at HS that sells them near ToT and I think there was a kiosk in AKL near Tusker House that sold them, don't know if that has reopened. Also I feel like I've seen them in the Africa stand in EP but since I don't like them, it's not somthing that I seek out so I could be really wrong on all 3 of those. I do know when we were at the poly last month the line was past the movie screen on the artifical lawn. My husband thought they were giving something free away, I said no that's just for a dole whip, it had to be no less than 70 people deep, it was crazy.

I think I like them so much because they are dairy free so I can actually eat them, but sometimes I do get them swirled with the vanilla (glutton for punishment) and they’re much more palatable. I think they are in all those places, but really most only have the traditional pineapple.

Dropped DS at college at 9a.
I then went home and cleaned , wfh. I left for local airport 12:40p

The local airport went from3 airliners to 1 , to only one flight per day.
The plane still on the runway broken .
I asked for my bags . Drove to college and picked up DS . We drove to meet DH and he drove me 70miles to another airport.
I’m now in a direct flight but only lands 20 mins after my original .
What a day !

Oh no! Maybe we need to start wishing people bad flights, so they have good ones! Not a good way to start your day but at least you will still be sleeping at WDW tonight! And hopefully a POGmosa in the morning!

Seems odd but there's been times when I've never gotten one. I just look on the app for my room number. Based on reports of empty parks I can't imagine the hotel being full. Hopefully, its because they are surprising you with the Royal Asante suite
