if club level really is opening up tomorrow, despite my previous post, does anyone know what time the rooms go
"live" online for booking?

I actually just called a little while ago and they told me ‘they have no idea, they didn’t tell them anything, and to try calling back at 7o’clock in the morning.’ Helpful and knowledgeable... as always lol

So... something is up with this...

I follow @disneyparks on twitter and they tweeted the article about CL this morning with the dates. Jackie then followed that up shortly thereafter with a DIS article with the same info.

Well, the @disneyparks tweet has been deleted, and the article on their website has also been deleted. So I'm wondering if it has been posted in error or taken down for revision or what...

I think the notes about the other resorts to be announced at later dates needed to be reworded.

Actually, maybe they are just adding Grand Californian to the list, I don't think that was in the original post. I hope it's even more resorts though, come on AKL!

Darn, we have a AKL Club reserved for the 50th in Oct. I can not believe they are not going to open! I guess that mean Boma and Jiko will not be open either! Man I am disappointed!

We do as well. Honestly, with Jambo not even having been given an opening date, I wasn’t really holding my breath. I am so glad, however, for our CL Thread friends who had such happy news today!!!

I've got 2 nights reserved for around then too. Killing me as I'd love to have the difference between Club level and std view back now so I can pop in a quick night in June someplace if I see one open. But nooooo.

Would booking a standard room tonight help? This way tomorrow I can I just modify? Looking for GDT specifically.

Probably. It seemed like they were implying there would be more places where refreshments would be available, due to distancing requirements. I thought the Verandah was some special outdoor area exclusively for CL guests. LOL.

We stayed CL at the GCH many moons ago, but I don't recall it being called The Verandah. I thought it was called the Craftsman Club back then?

It was called the Craftsman’s Club back then. They renamed it with the remodel, it kinda fits as it has a totally different vibe now.

I don’t see why that would help, I don’t expect Disney to hold back any rooms from general public booking for current bookings to upgrade.

Omg lol… I wonder if WDW didn’t talk to DLR? Meaning this afternoon’s GCH CL announcement was a surprise to Team FL? That would have been awkward There was NO reason for Disney parks to delete the WDW CL announcement. They released the exact info to TAs this morning, it was absolutely their plan. The DLR release was grouped in with general DLR news to TA’s and came out about 1:15 Pacific. Maybe in those couple hours Team FL started debating if they could get *something* open CL at WDW asap? No one likes to be shown up by a sibling

Logged on at 5:30 am EST and CL was available! Just booked our room at Wilderness Lodge - woohoo!

Was just coming to say the same thing - seems like some are bookable online at the moment. Didn’t see any RPC in the dates I searched though?

So I noticed, online at least, the room categories that were previously “CL Access” that Disney had shifted to non-CL and bookable during all of this... eg, suites, BWI Garden Cottages... are still showing non-CL designation.

Another example, at GDT the only CL room category is Tower-Standard View, and not the other numerous room types that are normally also CL.

I wonder what they plan is there - I ‘assume’ they’ll be moved back at some point when they can rework the website?
