My October 7-13th CL GDT is bumped for sure, I think they are just waiting for the NBA to clear out before opening CSR. Now the wait begins...

We’re in the same boat, but for early August. I’ll post back here when I hear anything! The only GDT moves I’ve seen so far have been to Riviera. But nothing on CL yet.

I have been moved from GDT CL to Riviera- Studio Preferred view.

Congrats on the move! I think Poly is a million times better then BC. I know some people feel the opposite but I would be thrilled with that change. Enjoy.

Thanks! I was a little worried my son would be upset because his main goal for this trip was to spend as much time as possible as Galaxy's Edge , and he was excited to be able to walk there. But since there is now no park hopping, it's not as big of an issue. And he was really excited when I told him about the move! I do agree that not having fireworks at MK is a bummer, since that's a great perk of the Polynesian. Patiently waiting to make our park reservations this morning!

Same here. They started work on it again at least and it seems to be a priority, for good reason, to help keep people off the monorail. Maybe it’ll be done by the fall.

Glad he was OK with it. We canceled but GE was my kid's main goal too and we were staying on MK area. We've done the HS to BC walk and my lazy kids hated it at the end of the night lol.

You need to call Disney. They have been modifying resorts to something open but will give you no option. Alternatively they are letting people modify to different dates but you have to pay rack rate. Idk if you can rebook to the newly announced hotels after their reopening dates or still just DVC/FW.

Unfortunately we’ve had 2 reports of people with close in reservations being modified and Disney absolutely refusing to reimburse for the loss of club level saying the hotel they’ve been rebooked to is an equivalent to is price equivalent in Disney’s viewpoint and therefore no reimbursement for CL loss.

I wish you luck with your decisions. It will be a very long time on hold.

Also there’s a rumor going around Disney will cancel all reservations made at closed resorts one week from the reservation start date if the guest does not contact Disney to change. Which I find absurd but Disney is doing absurd things (refusing to reimburse those 2 people for loss of CL because they placed them in a price equivalent room) so I think people should be ready for that rumor to be true.

So I just finished modifying my YCCL stay after 2 plus hours on hold. I changed it from 8/23-8/30 to 8/24-8/30. Kept my original rates and was able to keep CL....! CM said since I was able to modify and keep CL that she would think it would be available? FYI I also had 2 rooms CL and was able to modify both with no issues. Only thing was I had to reduce to 6 nights because checkout on the 1st was not available.

Just had to modify our BWI CL stay 8/8 to 8/16. We wanted to stay at BW for location purposes for this trip, so we got a 1 BDRM on the BWV side and we were able to get the 35% (no free dining recovery offer) discount. We didn't originally have free dining and were originally booked on a bounceback 30% discount offer. I didn't question it and gladly took the extra 5%. Disappointed to lose CL, but just wanted to report in case it helps others.

I'm 23 mins into a over 200 hold to change resorts from YC CL. agent did say Club level may be back the end of Augsust and if not we would be downgraded and refunded the CL portion.

I had a reservation for GF main building theme park view CL for Labor Day week. We were able to modify my dates to Christmas week. My price went up over $400 a night based on the time of year. My view was downgraded to standard view as theme park view and all suites were unavailable. The cm told me that I could still have main building but the club would not have any food or beverage for the rest of the year. Does anyone have any insight on this?

no insight, but the CM I spoke to today said the same as yours, but also that things are changing rapidly and that I could always modify if CL comes back.

i am on hold for 3 resort changes.

Poly cl 7/16-19 will be moved anywhere I can get.

Gf rpc 8/20-22 will need to be moved because gf not open those dates.

I am able to use the change reservation button online for my poly cl stay 10/8-12. It shows CR, gf and poly still offering cl(I only checked mono area). So I left that one alone and will try to get info. For poly if they keep Hawaii open I prefer that building so I am keeping for now.
