I did, here, when I quoted the post below several pages back. There's BWI, and then everyone else is a far off second. About the only difference I'd go with is I'd put CR in place of YC in 4th place. You can't leave me hanging! Give me your favorites!!
1. BWI CL-We love the experience there, and being so close to Epcot is another bonus. If it's available it's our first choice. Very nice quiet pool. So peaceful!
2. AKL CL-Wonderful place! For us, it's better for shorter stays or a split. Beautiful pool area.
3. WL CL- Good CL.
4. YC CL-Nice CL, Stormalong Bay is a plus.
5. Contemporary CL-Good MK location.
We are CL twins it seems
I'd rank them this same order for the most part
May swap CR and YC
We've done all the rest and rank all of those together below these
We stay at GDT on Christmas so I'll know where it ranks then
If anyone has a moment I would love to hear about their favorite CL that is bigger than a standard room. Just in case we change our mind on the CL. haha
Interesting that your suite had the large dispensers. I just returned from a stay at GDT, one floor up right across from the Chronos Club. My room had the travel size bottles with a wide range of amenities.
We’ve done a few above-standard room types at some of the resorts over the years. AKL 2-BR Suite, YC 2-BR Suite, BC 1-BR Suite (low guest count in this one), CR 1-BR Suite (Tower Club), and the Poly Suites. I guess you could throw the WL Deluxe Room in this mix as well and DW has stayed in a BWI Deluxe Room, as those are larger than standard rooms as well. All of these are either “Club Level” or “Club Level Access” (which usually means the room/lounge are on different floors).
The best ‘room’ and overall experience out of those was CR 1-BR at Tower Club, followed by the YC 2-BR Suite. The AKL 2-BR is certainly up there too.
Of course one of the major considerations with any of the Disney resort suites is cost, as they are rarely discounted and have an annoyingly high price tag that doesn’t make a lot of sense in many circumstances. Although sometimes costs can be around two standard rooms, if that’s the comparison point.
The DVC/villa route is likely almost always more cost effective for most circumstances if you’re looking for a larger room.
Thanks! Great info! Somehow my wife got us a two bedroom villa at WL with free dining in 2011 for an amazing price. I thought it was an error haha. She doesn't remember how she did it!
Sounds like everyone loves the CR tower club!!! Gonna have to get my butt over to YC soon!
Well, I am now down to nine days until my birthday trip to my favorite resort, the BWI! My husband and I are both looking forward to this trip. The past few months have been very trying for our family and we are looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the Christmas decorations.
Did you have two queens or a king? This room had a lovely view overlooking the resort. To the very left is DAK - you can just see EE and the top of the Tree of Life.

To the right, MK and CR are visible in the far distance.

Some abundant algae discoloration on the facade at this particular corner - must have some poor drainage or something. Those strips are rather bright LED lights that shine up at the 14th floor (they are only on this floor). Posed no issues at night with the curtains closed.

MK fireworks were quite visible.

Lastly, a lovely sunset.

Happy to answer any questions about GDT CL!

I wonder if again, it's the flexibility they have with rooms at GDT?Yeah, it is interesting. @trishadono reported the same thing about her 15th floor suite and thought it might be due to being connected to the larger (Presidential? Not sure of the name) suite on that one floor. I guess you get a little extra bump if you’re on the top floor.![]()

All the others come in at #6 together.
Was it a deluxe suite or std cl room? The GDT CL room I stayed in on the 15th floor had dispensers.

Mine was the suite for those following.

Those on the floor with the lounge are going to have to be CL rooms, right? I mean, if you are up there you have access. Period. So they aren't going to put non CL access guests in those rooms. But, on the other floors, the room you get may be a CL access room for your stay today but not tomorrow when another guest arrives. Right?
So the rooms that are always CL have individual, like other CL and the rooms that may or may not be CL have dispensers?
No idea. I was just guessing at possible reasonsI thought you had to scan your MB to access the Chronos Club. I haven’t actually stayed there yet, but that’s what I’ve read. Is that incorrect? I didn’t think 15th floor rooms had automatic access.
