Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I booked Contemporary Tower Club Standard with a BB discount for early December (when there in February). Sunday to Sunday, which I didn’t care for but since that is on my bucket list of rooms, I grabbed it. Airfare from Michigan is expensive on Sundays, so I calculated my best Disney math and added a night to beginning of stay at Poly. I booked part of airfare, but return portion has only gone up (doubled). I booked a King Tower room to add a day to end. I would really like to stay in the same room and not have to move the last night. Has anyone had luck with a continuing stay request? I know regular rooms are limited up there. I will continue to try and add to my BB, but at this point there is no availability for the extra day.

Making sure I have it right: you have a bounceback for a king standard room & then a single night also in a king standard? I only stayed Tower Club once. But my understanding is there are 2 king standards & 3 queen standard rooms on that floor. I think as long as your reservations are the same room type, you will be kept in the same room. Now if you have a queen standard for the bounceback & then a single night king room, your chances of keeping your room are not as good. If those 3 queen rooms are booked, there may not be anything they can do to keep you there.

I think I am speaking of the second scenario. My confirmation only states “standard” on the BB, and “standard king” on the extra night. Was hoping to just stay in whichever they give me as standard (queen). I do see how that would mess up someone else’s reservation though, since most probably aren’t only booking one night. I will keep trying to add that night to my original BB. Worse case we have to move....same floor at least.
I have really enjoyed our Atrium club stays, so hope we like this as well.

Since you are staying in the Tower Club why not contact DSS and see if they can assist you are in combining you two (2) reservations into a single room. In our case we ended up with a suite for the duration of our stay. They can be very helpful with a little notice. You might be solving another guests similar issue. It really never hurts to see what options might be available.

Please give them a call: Disney Singature Services (DSS) 407-939-7777 or via email at disney.signature.services@disneyworld.com They are available seven days a week from 9 to 5 Eastern Time.

A second option is to call the BB line at call 407-939-1923 and see if they can assist you, while you might be moved down to the Atrium Club which has more room choices to resolve the 2 room issue it is only 1 floor down and shares the same staff, food and personal services and we like the Atrium Club better since it is not quite a lonely as the Tower Club can sometimes be depending on bookings.

Tonight’s appetizers at Poly CL:

Salmon lomi lomi
Orange soy quinoa salad
Seared lamb with pea puree
Spicy shrimp with goat cheese polenta

Kids corner:
What I think was tri-color tortellini alfredo (just labeled as “Chef’s Selection”)
PB & J

Kinda slim pickings for a picky eater IMO. My husband ate it all and especially liked the lamb. My daughter and I picked up some food to share from Captain Cook’s.

Not all CLs have Uncrustables, but for the ones that do it has only been the peanut butter and grape jelly kind in my experience. Some CLs have bread/rolls, peanut butter and grape jelly to make your own.

This is interesting. Only club we have done thus far is Animal Kingdom and nothing resembling pb and j was an offering

Things change and evolve with all the CLs over time, so they may not be offering them at the moment. The below (cut-up uncrustables) was in April 2018, so has a bit of age to it. According to my pic of the menu board at the time, they were offered every other night. But over a year is ancient history in CL time, so big caveat that things could be different now.

Just remembered three things I meant to update on:

1) Both YC CL & AKL CL(old-style room) still had individual toiletries.
2) Upon request at AKL, small, cold Dasani water bottles were available. Didn’t ask at YC bc of only being there one night.
3) Nesquick chocolate milk available in fridge at AKL but not in YC fridge. YC kindly made some for my chocolate-milk-loving-son though. :)

Thanks for all your reviews. They were great

Thanks. Last time it was just us and this time the kids so hopefully Beach club club level delivers pb and j or at least something in the land of pasta or chicken fingers

FWIW, this is YC and not BC (but should be the same/similar), here's what they had in terms of PBJ a few months ago. Rolls with little cups of jelly and peanut butter, make your own. Also apples with dipping honey too.

And chicken fingers too. :-)

I know it’s been said many times that you have access to the lounge until the end of the day on checkout day. I’m guessing it means our magic bands will give us elevator access all day, correct?

We are here as well and weren’t wild about the food tonight. We enjoyed the noodles during the afternoon, though!

My fave! So jealous :teeth:
Hope you’re having a great time!!

LOL when the CM told us what they were serving ‘for the kids’, I was the one who got excited 😆 They really are delicious! I wonder what they’ll have tonight 🤔

On another note, I’m SO bummed, they no longer serve Riesling!! There’s only so many mimosas and Pogmosas you can have in a day 😫 No more Mickey Waffles in SL either. Not happy. Gotta get up and ready now. FP’s start at 9:30 today! Gotta look fab for Mickey 😎
