It's not going to be out but you can always ask for anything that they normally keep on hand

we drive, and always bring a bottle when traveling just in case... I may still bring one, but nice to know I have an option.

FYI - in case folks don't know, one of the biggest issues with the machines, any of them, putting the pods in with a fold in the lip of the edge of the foil on the pod. Sort of hard to explain without looking at one but if you can remember how they are pillows with coffee in the middle and the lip of foil sealed all the way around? That lip has to be flat without a bend or a kink in it when it goes in the machine. If it isn't, it will jam up. Some of the CM will take the time to smooth out each pod before they sit them out, some won't. I had a CL CM tell me years ago about the edges so I always check the ones before I load them in the machines but I'm certain many wouldn't have a clue, which is why the machines jam so often.

At work we've had these Nespresso machines for a while. You are totally right that one should take care that the edges are not bent. Based on my experience, most of the times, it will not jam the machine, but the pod will just “pass through” and then you have warm water instead of coffee. Definitely not the best way to start your morning routine if you're not paying attention!

Yes - all of the CL have upped their offerings. The CR Tower CL Lounge (which I will review later) was truly unbelievable for appetizers and desserts.

I am getting together my pictures now. It was probably one of our best stays. We absolutely loved everything about it - We would all pick the Tower level over the Atrium level. What size room are you in? Our 1 bedroom suite was wonderful. We loved the lounge chairs on the porch.

Same here - unopened beers at all of our other CL stays apart from AKL. They were adamant that nowhere on property does this despite us having received open beers for many years. I even spoke to the CL manager and he gave the same response.

Same, monitored alcohol when we stayed at BC too. I wish each didn't get to make up their own rules. I'm sure it goes back to dollars. I bet each manager is responsible for their resorts profit or has to allocate the food budget to some degree and they likely found that people take fewer beers because they are open

Yes, I was very disappointed. I enjoy beer on the balcony or after the park closes and the lounge is closed.

Are there specific times the beers are available in the CL (AKL specifically)? First time CL at any resort so I'm not familiar with the process and our plans have us out most evenings and nights. We'll be using the CL mostly to take advantage of relaxing with morning coffee, breakfast foods, etc. Would be a pleasant surprise to be able to have a beer in the morning/afternoon before heading to parks but not a huge deal if this isn't possible.

Beer and wine is out / self serve at AKL from 5-7pm with evening apps. It is available upon request at all other times of the day, including the morning. I can neither confirm nor deny that a few mimosas may have been consumed at breakfast during our stay there this past April.

Funnily enough the Nespresso person was in the Poly lounge reminding the CL staff about that this afternoon. (In not a very polite, Disney fashion.)

The machine is currently down and they thought it was some internal parts they had on hand and were hopeful to be able to get it up and running before evening service.

Not sure what kind of phone you have (I have iPhone), but when I need to post a pic when mobile I e-mail it to myself. Before sending it asks what size I want the file, I choose something other than the original file size. Then when the e-mail arrives I save that photo in my photo library, then grab that pic when posting. Sort of a pain but easy enough to do in a pinch.

Oh, thanks for this! I have always wondered how I was going to do that! Good to know.
