Oddly, other CL are putting bottles of water out for guests to take. Not sure why Poly isn't doing it now. When we were at Poly over July 4th I witnessed a CM "scold" a guest for filling their bottle from the dispenser in the lounge. Here is my opinion of the water situation. Bottles of water are not provided in the lounge. Everyday, we would take our empty water bottles that we bought from home and fill them using the water seen above. To do this, we would fill a disposable cup with water from the dispense and transfer to our water bottles. (For sanitary reasons, I didn't want to put our water bottles right up agains the dispenser spigot...I hate when people do that...yuck). Anyway, this process was a bit slow and, for the four of us, drained the water canister above a good amount). A few times we did have a CM offer to take the water bottles in the "back" and fill them, but I just wasn't comfortable handing over our water bottles to go "who know's where". I understand why they don't put water bottles in the refrigerator for anyone to take. People would totally hoard them and it would cost Disney a lot of money. Here's what I do think they should do: For the amount we pay for CL rooms, I do think some water bottles should be provided. A good resolution would be to put 4 or so water bottles in the fridge of each room during turndown. People could take them cold to the parks the next morning and they would be limited in the number they receive each day.
And even when they didn't put the bottles in the lounge all you have to do is ask, they'll give you all you need. We've didn't ask at Poly. Do they not even give bottles?
Another observation from our Poly stay, they had the longest RAC line of any resort stay out of all our resort stays ever. Thought it was rather odd too. That even counted AoA, a much larger resort. But yeah, we waited longer there than anywhere else. We never cut it close. Though, as you say, they close at noon, with check out at 11:00, even the line we had at Poly we still had plenty of time. Just watch YOUR plans, like for dining or FPSpeaking of RAC, if you are checking bags with them on your last day...leave lots of time! We waited in a long line for about 40 minutes! And, note, that RAC closes at noon!
