Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Is there availability for your dates...? There was not for us so we have a garden view.
there is for all three views CL :)

Why would there even be a debate????? I randomly checked AP discounts the other day and am now dying to book a summer trip.

yes the summer AP rate is exactly what I'm using!

I agree :thumbsup2. Whenever we stay CL, it's more for the lounge than the food offerings, so it's always worth it to us!

I'm not much help because I don't think you can go wrong with either one....LOL. I can't comment from experience on Poly CL, but I do love the Poly and can't wait to try CL. With that said, even though I think RPC is amazing, I think Poly CL has a lot to offer. Good luck! :wizard:
thank you friend :)

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! I put in a request for the 1st floor but now I'm thinking maybe I should have said 3rd??? It's a tough choice! Really I don't care either way, I just don't want the 2nd floor.

That said, this resort changer needs and wants advice. I am definitely doing a MK/Epcot split. But I'm torn between RPC and Poly CL. I LOVE the Grand! DH not as much, and we had a so-so RPC stay....so I'm torn whether to switch. If I do switch I'm thinking TPV CL...just because :)

Thoughts? :grouphug:

Haha I was just going to post the same thing that GADisneyDad14 did! The ultimate Poly CL stay is indeed TPV 3rd floor, so I can't imagine a better trip in my mind. As you know, we're trying RPC very soon, so I can't comment on that quite yet...but I do know my DH is truly a Poly guy. We also like the 1st floor patio rooms too, but they are now LV cause of the bungalows. You can still see Wishes, but it's not the same as pre-bungalow. But we really like walking out onto the beach....right when we get back to our room after being at parks, the first thing my girls do is walk out on our patio and onto the sand. :cloud9:

That's what I like too. Being able to walk outside. :cloud9:

Funny you say that. For my Oct 2015 trip I booked Poly CL TPV. I sent IPO an e-mail to request a third floor room (first preference) or first floor room (second preference)... same request I had done on previous trips. IPO replied that since I was TPV I'd be on an upper floor, not first (since the view categories had changed by that point I guess). I was fully prepared to beg for a first floor LV room and still pay the original TPV price if I got there and was assigned the second floor!! Fortunately I got my request for third floor so it wasn't an issue, but I was worried! First world problems, I know.

Although now that DS is getting older he asked last time if we could stay "in a room where I could stay on the patio and he could go play in the sand by himself" so I may book LV next time. I can certainly see the appeal of the walk-out patio and the view of the bungalows doesn't really bother me.

That Poly view so heavenly. I definitely want a balcony. However I'd rather have connecting rooms so if I must I'll take second floor. Fingers crossed two rooms are available with the AP rate. I'll keep everyone posted! And Erika can you extend a night

I haven't bought airfare yet, so I might be able to. I might end up doing a split stay and adding a few extra nights anyway... that's what I did last year when I tacked on the GF after BC. I always want to extend!!! :D

There's room with us! Mind you it won't be relaxing...but there's room :)

Having read some recent decline in service/perks/offerings posts, I am now debating keeping my CL reservation at the Poly for 2 nights in June... Any words of encouragement and/or caution for me? I need to make a decision on this ASAP. I am travelling with my DH and adult DD. Thanks for helping me make up my flippin' mind once and for all!

IMHO, it's worth a try for 2 nights. If you were going for much longer, it's more of a risk in my mind.

I say go for it! I'm staying 3 nights Poly CL next month and I will report back and let you know how it went for us. I admit I'm a bit of an enabler too, but I agree with dansdad, it's such a short trip you probably can't go wrong. The Poly is a beautiful resort. I've stayed CL there before and it's just so wonderful being in the Hawaii bldg. with the spaciousness and view from the lounge. Enjoy!

haha yes! I love the food options too but now we are cheating on Kona Cafe with breakfast in the lounge...! I am so glad to hear you liked the food there also. I am trying to decide if I should bother booking any ADRs or if having that and supplementing with CS will be enough this trip.

When we stay CL I usually have a plan for lunch somewhere, either CS in a park, or TS at a park or resort. Then snacks and drinks in the lounge. We may eat a light dinner later, or snacks.

Maybe book dinner ADRs now and see how you feel after the first day. You can always cancel them later.
