Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

You can take the secret entrance and walk through the hotel to the main elevators. But we don't usually do that unless it's raining or storming. :)

General BC tips: The laundry machines only take credit cards now, no coins. Beaches and Cream takes ADRs now but you can still get ice cream and sundaes from the to-go line. Try the Milky Way sundae, it is awesome!!!!!!!! :D If you happen to miss the club lounge closing at 10:00 PM you can still buy drinks down in the Marketplace. Inevitably that always happens to me so I've trained myself to keep extra drinks in our room fridge. Plus sometimes I just get a craving for a vitamin water or something not offered in the lounge, so I'll buy a few downstairs and keep them in the fridge too. :)

This is the suite I was talking about.

Notice the door on the left in the 2 queen room? Looks like an add on room available.

ATTENTION CL GUESTS!!! :wave2:

We have a lot of people traveling this fall to various resorts on CL, so if you notice new information that needs to be added to page 1 please let me know. Also I'd love new lounge and room photos anytime you notice a change. I'm still looking for photos of the new chef station at the AKL CL lounge during evening appetizers. :thumbsup2

I have some of the chefs station that I took this past weekend but I cant get them to post. Erika can you PM me your email address and I'll just email them to you?

As far as your room dilemma. ...the DVC grand villas are very nice. BLTs are amazing but 2 floors so not very wheelchair friendly. When I read your post BWV grand villa jumped in my head. Its one floor and gigantic. Plus they just refurbished them. I would think renting points would be a lot cheaper than going through WDW. Given there's no CL access but you have a huge full kitchen that you can get stocked from GG. ....just a thought

Oh is the secret entrance i often hear about anything i would use from the 5ht floor rooms?
You will have to use the elevator near the lobby to get back up to the fith floor. The elevator that is located near the secret door only goes up to the fourth floor in that wing. :)

Add us to the list for Old Faithful Club at WL - Jan 9th - 13, 2016
1st club level stay :cheer2:

It mentions upgraded products (shampoo/conditioner) but in the pictures it looks like the same ones Ive had when staying non-club at a Deluxe? Can anyone confirm either way? Trying to see if I will need to pack

Hello all,
We are staying AKL club
I was wondering what success people have had requesting club level to pre book your ADR/ fast pass for you?
Sounds a easy option if I can send a list through??! Especially with time difference from UK

What are your views/ experience?
Many thanks
Ruth

You can send them here: ekmurphy12@aol.com :) THANKS!

I thought about a GV but I know they are super tough to get and they can't be booked until the 11 month window for an owner. The thought of waiting that long and then not even getting one makes me nervous. I'm pretty much down to the GF RPC and CR 12th or 14th now as my top choices. Mainly because of wheelchair access through those buildings to the monorail seems the easiest. Plus I think my Dad is going to want to be close to the lounges/bars so he can relax and socialize.

I haven't heard any reports of club level staff booking fastpass+ attractions for guests.
With AKL CL you'll be guaranteed a savannah view, I would add a request to be near the lounge/lobby to reduce the risk of being way down at the end of one of the long hallways.
Have fun planning! :)

The regular rooms should have the H2O orange and the club room should have the H2O green (spa collection). They are the same size and shape, just a different color label. Then if you're in a suite or deluxe room you should have the larger size spa collection bottles. They are about double the size.

After several rooms changes we decided to go with Polynesian Garden view Club level for our Dec trip. I know the view is going to be of construction but we really love the Polynesian. They emailed me within a week after reserving our room. They sent me a copy of their nightly appetizer list. I can't wait.

Can you add us to the upcoming guest log? We just booked a trip in May 2016 for Star Wars Weekend to celebrate my husband's graduation! So not only will we be at CR Tower Club NEXT WEEK (!!!), we'll be back again a few months later! We'll be staying at CR Tower Club 5/17-5/22. :)

I'm sure you'll have a great time! We love the Poly and are excited to try CL next summer. Have a great trip and I hope you will post about your stay after your trip :wizard:.

Congrats on booking for next May. Hope you have a great time next week :wizard:.

Please add us for March 28 - April 2, 2016 for Polynesian GV club. Thanks!!

Happy planning :).

I made our dining reservations for April this morning-online reservations worked fine. Yay!
I just emailed our room requests. It will help with the coming winter to know we will be in the sunshine in April.

Glad online reservations worked and you were able to get your ADRs! April will be here before you know it :goodvibes.

Thank you I absolutely will update! Hopefully with pictures.

A few questions. Does anyone know how the YC cl handles peanut allergies? Not sure what dd could eat safely. Also do you think cl is worth it for a family of 5 staying one night? Price difference between std room and cl is $148. I think yes for one night.

I think that would be a question to ask the IPO directly, after booking. That way you'd get the most recent information.
