Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

So I was trying to make a payment on one of my bookings. Can't do it online for some reason, and when I called to use the auto system, it transferred me to a live agent. I hung up because I currently have more than 1 booking at the same time and I didn't want them to question it. I wonder why they don't want to take my payment via online or phone.

No worries. I almost always have 2 at a time. They will not be concerned,

Kind of going to dress up, I have a shirt that has little piglet ears that says “oh d-d-dear” on it, and a pair of shorts with pink strips as an ode to Piglet. Thinking of some other stuff to go with it to be more Piglet, but that’s all I’ve got so far. I normally don’t do anything, I normally wear a T-shirt that says “this is my costume” that’s just black with white lettering, but this year I felt like more….I just haven’t decided how “more” I’m going to go yet.

You totally convinced me @Sarahslay - I went so far as to find a dress on Amazon that would work for a Minnie Bound....But I went to buy tickets today and they were sold out (for the Aug 24th After Hours). I'll have to watch closely in case they decide to open up anymore tickets. While I would love for them to do so - so I can get a ticket - the true beauty of After Hours is for there to be a small, small number of tickets sold

Sorry you couldn't get tickets. I'm going that night. Maybe it will open up. I can't imagine why Tuesdays in August are sold out but not September 🤷‍♀️

I missed the pics too😔

FYI, a nice video of the new Tonga 1BR suite.

Pretty! But calling that “Moana theming” is a reach. I totally get why they wouldn’t go heavier than a couple of pictures in the hallway for a suite but this reminds me of Citricos claiming a Mary Poppins theme.

Also dying at the use of the Official DisTube Polynesian Resort Video Theme Song. That must be the only vaguely Hawaiian sounding song with a Creative Commons license, I swear.

I just need ONE ticket, so hopefully it will open up to just a few 😅 . I have a note on my desk to check daily for tickets.

I am actually there through Sept 4th - but my girlfriend that I am meeting (the 26th thru the 1st) doesn't want to go - which rules out the 27th and 31st. I am honestly debating Sept 3rd - even though my driver will be picking me up around 6 AM to head to the airport :rotfl2:

Very true!

FWIW, the first floor Hawaii check in area window scrims were down last night. They left the Moana details for there - there are four full size floor to ceiling portraits of the dad, grandma, Moana, etc on the wall behind the old CM desks. They look super cute. Whole space looked really sharp actually. Can’t wait to see the lounge.

I love those machines!! It's been my main reason for booking CL!

Oh how I would love an entire CL switch from Keurig to Nespresso. I’m not comfortable admitting how much I utilize the one in the lounge…

Fun fact -Pre Covid they were looking into switching to a big Starbucks machine (like the one at Delta lounge JFK for those familiar), or even a different Nespresso set-up due to regular maintenance issues with the machine. I assume this fell way down the priority list.

@Dispro1 hello? You need this! It has it's own Nespresso!!
Wow! I do LOVE that room! That closet with the vanity is so nice! Does it only have a shower, or did I miss the tub?? That's a bit of a bummer for a suite IMO. Nice that it has a Nespresso machine (smaller one). I looked at availability on this room for next year (a few minutes ago), and it is booked for weekends in May and beyond (I didn't check every weekend obviously). I would've liked to book it for DD's HS graduation trip, so that's depressing. I guess we could do a split stay, but then again, the Hawaii building is a better location (close to Oasis pool and short walk to boat to MK) plus two rooms in Hawaii is cheaper than the suite so then my other DD can go too if she wants. Decisions, decisions. Then again, RPC is the family favorite lol. I just checked suites at BWI, and they are booked too! I can still get a deluxe room CL there at least. I never would've guessed they'd all be booked 10 months ahead of time...guess I was wrong!

I'm REALLY curious about the Tonga Honeymoon suite now, having seen the 1 Bedroom...no particular reason...not like I've obsessively been on the wedding site or anything ever since a nice chat with a CM at YC who mentioned they have surprisingly affordable options... :rolleyes1

This has me SO excited for our stay in Tonga in early November! We'll be in the VP suite and I'm dying to see pics after the refurb! :lovestruc

ETA: Now that they've added Nespresso machines to these rooms, they might have to drag me out kicking and screaming on our checkout day. There's no way I'll ever want to leave!
