2014 Old Faithful Lounge @ WL

(I’m always too embarrassed to take pictures in the lounge, so this was all I took!)

I'm always too embarrassed to take lounge pictures, too!!! Thought it was just me. That's why all of mine are from far away. Lol.

I also always feel strange taking pictures of the food in the lounge! I asked my daughter to do it once. I figured she was young (about 7 or 8) and no one would think it was weird that a kid was taking lounge food photos. I asked her and she said “really mom? No. That’s just weird. Take your own photos!”

I'm going to vent for a minute, so I apologize in advance. I was so excited for my upcoming trip but now I feel like it's going to be a bust. Nothing is going right. I can't get Savi's, I can't get Ogas or Chef Mickeys. Basically everything on my son's must do list. We were flying home early on Wednesday because it's my husband's birthday. He said change flights, not to rush home and he's ok with that (he's not coming). Last night I snag a Savi for 1 and Ogas for 2 for that Wednesday. Try to change flights, it's a no go. As of this morning, Hollywood Studios had available park tickets. Come home from work, wait forever on the phone, finally switch the flights to a later time. Mine is semi messed up but will call back another time. I go to add a day of tickets on since we have most of Wednesday, and HS is no longer available *sigh* . All that switching and no HS. I'm just not feeling it anymore. I know things change but this is a star wars focused trip without the star wars. I can't imagine how crowded the parks are going to be. Can't get any adrs. *sigh* someone tell me it will be ok. I really just want to cry.

I understand. Keep trying. I was able to book a HS day even though the calendar said that particular day was full. People cancel and things are adjusted all the time. It is very challenging planning a trip right now, but things are very fluid. Keep trying and I’m sure things will work out. Hope you enjoy your trip.

Hang in there, sometimes Disney adds to the park reservation system..in other words they add availability.

Awww, I get it. I was starting to feel the same way for my November trip. I originally had all my dinner reservations... but changed some times to include an extra friend who decided to come last minute (went from a party of six to a party at seven). I made those changes when all those reservations opened up that one day, and ended up losing 3 of them due to that big ADR Glitch... including Thanksgiving Dinner!!!!! Up until the day before Thanksgiving, I still did not have my Narcoossee‘s Thanksgiving dinner reservation back! I literally was stalking the ADR system on a daily basis, and the day before, a reservation for seven popped up for the exact time we wanted! Then the following week, we ended up getting a Chef Mickey’s breakfast the night before we wanted to go! Multiple times actually opened up! My friend even got one for Droid Depot the day before she wanted it!!! So don’t give up, just keep checking, and hopefully something will pop up! Everything will be great and will work out, don’t let it ruin your trip!!!

Thank you. Planning was always part of the fun for me and now it's just stressful. I'm sure we will have fun. I think I just need one thing to be set. You also might want to try the reservation finder through Touring Plans. It's free and has always worked for me. This past November when Disney had that the glitch with their ADRs, I lost a few of my big ones because I decided to make some minor changes with the times. Touring Plans came to the rescue. Sometimes you'll get the notice weeks before and sometimes it's only days, but it's worth a try. Also, just like everyone else said, keep looking at the availability for HS. It wasn't available to us for our trip, and then about 2 weeks before we left, everything opened up again. Good luck!

These pictures make me miss club level so much. I only ever did RPC and AKL club level, but both were excellent. I'll see if I can find some pictures to add to the collection, but the more I look, the more I miss it.

We have AKL club level booked for June, but I doubt it will return by then.

I love Narcoossee’s and LeCellier! The filet is excellent at both. Shula’s is good too. Enjoy!

Steak is just about all my 10-year old will eat at WDW. We’ve been to Cali Grill a few times since reopening - that is definitely his favorite (and I love that place too).

Not necessarily a first choice but he also likes the steak at Teppan Edo. Go with the adult filet and not the kids menu cheaper cut.
