Oh thx! Someday I want to try there !I know you weren't asking me, but it was 'free' in July. Here's the selection menu:

And when you come back, if you get a chance, please do post photos of your room!
Thanks for posting these! Quick question for you...was there a daybed or sofabed in the room, and if so, was it in an area that was separated out from the king bed? At the time, that was the sticking point...we were on property at the time, trying to book a bounceback rate, and the CM on the phone had recommended this room, but was uncertain of specifics about the daybed/sofabed. But when I tried to look up photos, none I could find at the time showed the daybed/sofabed, and since availability was very limited during the dates we were traveling, I got cold feet and switched to a room I knew would work...the CR 1BR suite. (And then, a few months later, I found a good AP rate on a honeymoon room at GF RPC and switched to that, lol. Long story, but the short version is my D loves the food so much at RPC that she was willing to give up her own space for that part of our split stay...we usually stay in 1BR suites due to 2 of the 3 in our traveling party having sleep issues.)I know you weren't asking me, but here are some (not very good) pics of the Honeymoon Suite.
This room can actually be cheaper than regular CL rooms at times. The other room options in Tonga (which are suites), not so much!
It's a beautiful room.

No, no daybed or pull out sofa in the Honeymoon suite (actually suite is maybe the wrong word for this room - it's just a Honeymoon room in my opinion). I'm not sure what the occupancy of this room is, but I'd be surprised if it's more then 2? Or I guess maybe 3 and the King counts as the sleeping surface for that many? Not sure how that works?
But no, the room is spacious but not 'that' big and no room for a day bed or sofa with the current selection of furniture in there.
The 1BR Suite in Tonga does have 2 Q's and a sofa bed if you ever consider staying in that room.
Granted I haven’t seen the room yet, but in MDE it is clearly listed as a honeymoon room, not a suite, seems to make sense it would have a low occupancy number like you said.
We just arrived at the Poly and we were upgraded from a lagoon view room to a honeymoon room in Tonga!!!! Currently having breakfast in the King Kamehameha Club. We even had the Magical Express all to ourselves since it was so early. This is the first resort in a few trips where no one was at the entrance greeting people but it was very early. We are so excited!
We just got home from the Poly CL and love the CMs in the lounge!
We sure did have fun at the Poly this week, and as I told one of the CMs, the Poly is dangerously close to becoming my favorite resort!
This is so exciting! Hanging out at the Oasis pool with some ducks now. Going to get a mimosa in a minute then over to Epcot for a quick dash in to get our 4 AP visits. What an awesome first visit to the Poly!!
Oh gosh, I didn't realize you weren't in the room yet
Would anyone have experience with getting a discount on a 2 bedroom CL in the summer? We wanted to travel with another couple and thought this might be a good option. We can always book regular rooms but just thought I'd ask. TIA
Thank you very much for the info.I do online check-in but mainly just to get the payment/credit card on file. And so I don’t have to be reminded of the balance due when I check in.
In my experience over a few stays in the last year, we have not been greeted upon arrival. Instead, I look for a manager or ipad CM type around and tell them we’re checking in CL, or go to the regular check-in desk and say the same thing - they usually will then escort us up to the 5th floor and pass us off to a CL CM to go through check-in.
With the exception of our last visit where they did work, our MagicBands have never worked to get access to the 5th floor upon arrival even after doing online check-in - so finding someone to escort you up from the main lobby is effectively a necessity, in my experience.
Enjoy your YC CL visit!
Thank you for clearing that up! I had a feeling the CM was wrong...he kept insisting it slept 3...but he is the CM I spoke about it another thread that actually took the wrong deposit amount for our December 2019 BB stay and caused part of our split stay to be cancelled (Disney automatically cancelled our reservation, but didn't inform us, when the system "caught" that we'd put less than 1 night's deposit on the room...I even questioned him at the time that it wasn't enough, but he insisted it was...grr).No, no daybed or pull out sofa in the Honeymoon suite (actually suite is maybe the wrong word for this room - it's just a Honeymoon room in my opinion). The 10% discount is our experience as well. And I think in the fine print of the discounts it typically states that suites only get 10%. That's why that deluxe CL room at WL always seems like such a steal to us when it gets a bigger discount, because it functions as a suite due to the separate living room with the sofabed. Wasn't it actually classified as a Junior Suite several years ago?I'm curious as to other's experiences, but my experience with the suites is that they tend to get a basic 10% discount (if that). They don't tend to follow the same % off as the regular room general public or AP discounts. Not sure if there are any TAs that have discounts on suites, that's not something I've ever researched heavily.
You may know this, but there are a few resorts that have larger suites that don't show up / aren't bookable online.
Lastly, if you're looking for space / a larger room to share with the other couple, renting points for a DVC Villa will likely be the cheaper way than the resort suites, if that is something of interest to you.
Me too! I really want a Tonga stay!Thank you for clearing that up! Re: that 1 BR Tonga suite...that one is the holy grail we've been chasing for years...it has never been available for our dates!![]()
Leaving today.... but plan another trip soon. We have found our "happy place".I agree, BWI CL is amazing! Hope you're having a great time.
Glad you had a great vacation!Leaving today.... but plan another trip soon. We have found our "happy place".
We love it there too. Please report back about the food offerings when you can. We went this past June and loved it, but I’ve heard of some changes that happened after our stay and I’m curious. Glad you had an amazing trip.Leaving today.... but plan another trip soon. We have found our "happy place".
Well, the clown alone maybe not but just the whole pool area is a turn off for me at BWI. Not sure exactly what I hate so much about it.it feels cramped, no zero entry, that hideous clown... However, all the raves about Cl there do make me want to give it a try.OMG the clown is a big nothing. What you have booked is, by far, the finest Club Level experience in WDW. We are here now and, as usual, the staff is over the top in its attentiveness to everything to make your stay perfect. And Redgie.... the wonderful chef in the lounge nightly.... another part of the Club Level experience at BWI which will make your stay memorable. I have tried other CLs ... all good even great.... but its the staff at Boardwalk that makes the place!!
