Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Thanks everyone for all of your replies and making me feel a lot better with my thoughts. The location definitely made it worthwhile since we walked back and forth to Epcot several times a day  and of course the staff was amazing, plus the specialty drink they were offering at dinner each night was an apple cider mimosa in a cinnamon sugar rimmed glass and that made me a very happy girl. We've come to the decision that we should probably try out all of the lounges so that we can better assess the differences of each one, you know, for research purposes, and then maybe once the YC lounge has been refurbished will give it another go. :thumbsup2

Myocl at BWI, following in last week’s @trishadono footsteps. Can I finish this cake? Don’t think so. BUT I CAN TRY. Red velvet from Cake Bake - it’s good. The bottom layer is weirdly drier than the rest, but still yummy. It’s Disney worth it for a one-off, if that makes sense. Garden view, so nothing worth looking at other than cake/wine!

Your review tends to echo others that i have read about cale bake. I hope they succeed but its not looking promising, lots of 1 and done reviews.

I have been wondering if Cake bake will be supplying BWI CL with anything. I guess time will tell but if anyone is staying soon please let us know. We are booked next summer.

I would not think so since CBS is an outside vendor.

That doesnt mean you cant have CL and get a piece of cake from cbs. It is nice that it is convenient for BWI CL. I would get that champagne raspberry cake and take it to the lounge and get me some free champagne to go with it.

Then either enjoy the cake in the lounge or if a boardwalk view take it and drink to my room.

It is really not a bad option.Whats another $20 at this point???

LOL love spending others money.

Just came back to add that I have often gotten QS cupcakes and taken to the lounge because they were something I wanted and to have the beverages provided for free makes it an easy add on. Even if ppl don't drink alcohol the coffee and teas etc are free vs expensive in the shops.

Now, the BARS are amazing, magic bar is 100/100. We’ll try millionaire’s tomorrow, but I don’t anticipate any more special trips over…

At GF RPC, waiting for my room to be ready. Cindy spotted me, brought me a glass of bubbly, a hug, inquiries about Mom, and some FAB NEWS! Beer, wine, and champagne are now self-serve from 4-8 pm!

This is sort of silly and not a terribly cost effective reason to justify CL, but I don’t really care for the YC or BC quick service options at all, so the convenience of coffee, water, and other CL amenities steps away vs my strong dislike for the alternative does factor somewhere into my value equation. :-)

Thanks for checking in with your trip report!
I would disagree with you on this because that is one of the reasons we also like CL.

We have a joke in our family that CL is worthwhile just for the convenient Nespresso machine, as opposed to WDW's other coffee options.

Mind, I'm not super picky about my coffee, but really bad coffee is not a fun way to start a vacation day. Fresh fruit and breakfast foods are a welcome bonus addition.

What I remember about YC CL last Christmas was the lounge area was grimy. The table legs, the base boards
the area where they keep the big box of different teas really needed a thorough cleaning. And, of course, I sulked about
being served the alcohol.
The whole Crescent Lake area looks great at Christmas. I love theYC Christmas tree and
subdued lighting. Next time I stay there for Christmas, it will not be CL.

I love magic bars! I make them every Christmas so my standard is very high. Lol. I'll have to give those a try. Report back on the millionare bar, I'm intrigued. Hope you are having a great trip.

The millionaire’s is cake, but it seems to get high marks…

So I am arriving a day early for an upcoming trip thanks to a great price on my flight. It's been a hell of a year and I am wanting to treat myself. Looking to stay BWI CL but the only thing available is the Garden Room. My flight gets in at noon and I'll have some work to get done so most likely will not be hitting a park. I am wanting to take full advantage of a club level stay (decent food and beverage options with a comfortable lounge) Am I crazy for booking it for 1 night? If so, what other club level would you stay in?

Do you mean a Garden Room - Club Level Access?

If yes these 2 story rooms are located outside of the main building so it is a walk to the main building and a trip to the 4th floor where the Inn Keeper's Lounge is located. The lounge is great but this type of room would not be my first choice if you really want to enjoy all the CL lounge has to offer.

Isn't the Nespresso machine the ONLY reason to book CL?!? I'm kidding...but only a little bit.

Why did you say you cannot enjoy all the lounge has to offer? I booked one of the cottages for July 2025. Let me know why so I can decide if we want another room or the Beach Club.

Simply because the Garden Rooms (cottages) are not convenient to the location of the lounge. You can't make a quick stop on the way out to the parks or on the way to your room to grab a snack, drink or just use as an expanded sitting area. I would always chose a CL offering where the lounge is on the same floor as our room.

Have you stayed at the WL? The trip back and forth to the lounge would be like a trip for a Deluxe Room on the 1st floor near the walkway to the boat dock. Now add a trip outdoors in July Heat, humidity, and often rain in the afternoon.

The Garden Rooms (cottages) are a unique space but the bedroom is up a rather steep, short rise set of stairs that is not something to look forward to after a long day in the parks. The couch sectional is a nice area to relax and I guess that you could sleep in the sleeper sofa if you don't want to climb up to the King size bed.

Last year when we were at CL at the YC, we took a walk over to the Boardwalk to look at the garden rooms as back as the bounceback offer. The walk from the CL to the Garden rooms is exactly described by Dave006. It’s not convenient and a lot of stairs to climb.

Anyone have any experience with CR 1-bedroom garden hospitality suite? I believe it includes club level but haven’t heard from signature services and we’re about 18 days until check in. The room category was under the club level section when I booked, but unlike the others, it didn’t state Atrium or the other lounge specifically.

We've stayed in the Garden Rooms (cottages) at least five times over the years. I agree with Dave. They are really inconvenient to the lounge. For a week long stay we only end up going to the lounge two or three times max.

Since the refurb the sectional couch on the first floor is no longer a sleeper sofa. The only bed is the king bed on the second floor.

I have stayed there. You will have access to the Atrium Club on the 12th floor.

Just like my post directly above about BWI Garden Cottages, we rarely use the lounge when staying in the garden wing one bedroom suites or hospitality suites at CR. It's inconvenient.

Nothing prevents you from calling DSS at 407-939-7777 seven days a week from 9 to 5 Eastern Time. Or you could drop them an email if you have any questions?
