Disney's Character Warehouse?

What type of outlet is this? Is this in a strip mall or a big shopping mall? Thinking of heading up to the one in Fullerton the day we arrive to do a little shopping then eating at DTD so we don't burn a day of our DL passes to the parks.

It's in a corner of an outdoor shopping mall. Note that it's not a Disney operation and it's kind of hit or miss. We've gone and left without buying anything on many occasions. Here's a map: http://g.co/maps/7wtpm

This place is definitely a hit or miss, but when it's a hit, it's a hit and when it's a miss, it's a miss.

That being said, it is becoming more and more of a miss, since Disney seems to be first put merchandise on clearance in the park, then sending to their own outlet stores at some factory outlets, then to places like Character Warehouse.

I totally agree with the other posters. A few years back the Character Warehouse in Fullerton was awesome; we got all kinds of great buys on our trips; costumes, seasonal things, hoodies, shirts, Mickey ears, ornaments... nowadays we don't get ANYTHING when we stop in. Everything seems to be last remainders....the leftovers of the leftovers. Ugly clothes in all the wrong sizes, junky toys, crappy knick knacks that nobody would want; some of their merchandise isn't even Disney anymore. And you'd think the prices would at least be good if the product isn't, but no, the prices are high, even ridiculous on some of the items (practically full price). I almost bought a set of pirate pj's (like the kind they sell on disneystore.com for $10 sometimes) for my son the last time til I saw they were $23!
