I found a great deal Disney's Carribean resort. But, I am thinking I seen on a post somewhere you have to pay for parking? Currrently we have reservations for the Caribe Royal Suites off -site. Is it worth the little extra $10.00 a day to stay at the Disney resort. Our trip is not until August. My DS loves the pictures of the pool at Caribe Royal (waterfall/slide). How is the pool at Disney's Carribean resort??

Not only do you not have to pay for parking at the resort you dont have to pay for parking at any Disney park as long as your staying on-site. Also for us we park the car and never drive again until we leave and make use of the busses and other Disney transportation. Oh and it is WELL worth the 10.00 to stay onsite.

There is plenty of parking at CBR and it is free. I have pictures from CBR and the pool on my website. Just click on the link below to go to the site. CBR has a nice pool with slide.

Thank you for your responses. I called today to make the switch. Now I just have to wait for confirmation that there are still rooms at the price they gave me.

Safetymom - Thank you for the pictures my DS will love it there!!:smooth:

ToniL, Could you share how you got the great rate and what is was? I have been watching mousesavers and the boards but so far only good deals are with FT, canadian and florida residents so any help would be greatly appreciated. We will be there at the end of July. Thank You

I am also registered on the wdisneyw.co.uk. I used this site to get some park passes. This week they sent out the Disney Deals 5 newsletter. They were offering group rates at the DCR. When I called I received a rate of $115.00 per night on a stay of August 5 - August 10. To me that was a great rate considering I already had reservations off site at the Caribe Royale for $109.00 per night. I asked the reservation clerk what type ID I need for checking in with the discount. He said nothing. This is a group rate offered to their readers. I could be meeting family! I pay a deposit with the reservation then they charge my credit card the balance 30 days prior to my arrival.

Was that a good rate? Also if someone wants the newsletter I can forward it to you. if you PM me.
