Persistence is good as people do cancel. Especially at 30 days out.
Maybe a 3rd party seller like orbitz, Cheap Tickets, etc.

I have a pirate room booked for 11/27 to 12/6 (it was the only room with free dining). I would prefer a standard room with queen beds as I'm traveling with 2 teenagers... I'm hoping they will let us 'downgrade', (no refund wanted) upon check-in.

All the Preferred Rooms are very close to OPR and the Main Feature Pool. So now you're left with few other choices. Do you prefer 1st or 2nd floor, corner room, etc?

Good luck. I have not heard of anyone successfully getting that done, though many have tried.

Can we just trade LOL?! That's exactly what I need when I need it! I have a water view room those same dates, but no free dining. Oh well. The lady I spoke with yesterday told me to try again around 45 and 30 days out when most people cancel their trips.

It will be me, my husband, our daughter (22 yoa), and our nephew (7 yoa). We have a preferred room reserved and really want/need one with the pull down. Is there a way to guarantee that or just wait till it gets closer and request it?

Call and have it added to your reservation. It isn't guaranteed but they will do their best to accomodate.
You can call now or later, as long as it's on your reservation at least 10 days prior to your check in date.

Yes the Activities are at set times. You can check out the August Calendar below for an idea. You'll see that the Mickey Tie Dye is Sun, Tues, Thurs and Fri from 4:30-5:30.

I am here now and the pools IE main pool and the private pools per location are closing at 11pm so yes, pack a costume.

Can we order a full size pizza at the food court and use our ddp credits? Thinking this might be a good option for when we return from the park around 8pm 1 or 2 nights. I know you can order pizza delivery but that is 2 table service credits so last year we just paid the $20 cash. Thanks in advance!
