Welcome aboard! We are trying out CBR this September for the first time as well.Just heard back from our TA - we needed to change resorts due to arriving a day early, so we're now booked for CBR! We've shied away from CBR because we were worried that it was too spread out, but I'm excited to try something new (we've never stayed in the same resort twice). Now off to thoroughly read this thread!
Staying there in Sept first time at CBR...We also decided to rent a car...so does it matter what building to stay at, this point?, or is there still a difference in the building to stay? (Have Standard Room)
If you intend to drive everywhere, then I'd say not really. Having said that, we drive to Disney and have a car at our disposal but once we park it in the parking lot, that's where it stays. I let Disney do the driving for us.
Doesn't matter at all. The parking lots are close to each resort. We used to drive, but since our kids are adults, they aren't going and the wife and I can let Disney drive us around.Staying there in Sept first time at CBR...We also decided to rent a car...so does it matter what building to stay at, this point?, or is there still a difference in the building to stay? I believe they have some in the deli.Does anyone know if CBR have croissants for breakfast.
When we were there in Oct/Nov they not only had croissants, they had several different types!Does anyone know if CBR have croissants for breakfast.
My 8 year old DD is 55" & did just fine at POR on the pulldown. She should be ok.I showed my daughter a video of the Murphy bed last night and she is in love! It looks small though, she is only 8 but it still looks questionable.
They are very well marked on signs telling which direction to go for what islands and once you get to the lot for each island you can see a sign as well. Also, at the gate I am sure they will direct you. You won't have any trouble at allQuick question -- We are staying at Pop Century prior to our package at CBR and I didn't realize how close the two resorts were to each other. When we drive over to CBR, and if we get the streamlined check in and we go straight to our room, will we have any trouble finding the correct village? In other words, are they well marked?
They are very well marked. Should be no problem. I mean, if I can figure it out, then you should have no problem.Quick question -- We are staying at Pop Century prior to our package at CBR and I didn't realize how close the two resorts were to each other. Great! I can sometimes be directionally challenged so the better marked they are, the better! They are very well marked. Should be no problem. I mean, if I can figure it out, then you should have no problem.![]()
