Same here. I keep the do not disturb out our entire trip, and just call to switch out towels, etc when needed. Don't want anyone in my room either. We can keep our room clean just fine since we only use it to sleep and shower.

Nice to know that i am not the only one feeling this way! :chat:

If anyone is there right now or will be soon. Would you mind taking pics of the USB ports? I'm just curious how many there are in a room. Thank you so much if your able to:thanks:

How far is typhoon lagoon from the resort? Do the buses come often to take you there?

Okay some questions for you cbr experts. I am planning a trip for one of my husband's employees as a bonus reward. They are booked at CbR preferred room. Is that worth it??
Also they arrive around 12 noon first day. What are good suggestions for things to do the first day??
And when planning meals for them does everyone just plan around their parks that day?? If so where do I book the first night?? We have always eaten where we stay the first night but I would like their first night to be somewhere special! Thanks.

1.. Preferred room is worth it if they want convenience/location to OPR.
2...Depending on park hours, which you can find on WDW parks page for all dates, schedule around that. My wife and I get in at 1:00PM on our arrival date...we have Epcot planned for that date and dinner at Cape May...walking from Epcot to Cape May.
3...As for meals, depends on what they want. You can schedule around the parks or around WDW in general. If you want something special for them, there are many fine restaurants to choose from. If you can get a Contemporary Resort restaurant overlooking the Magic Kingdom fireworks on the first night, that is special.

Yeah it would be a pain dragging a stroller up and down. Do you if the noise is greater on the ground floor?

This will be my first trip to CBR. Seems spread out enough that it won't be loud unless you're right by the pools or major walkways.

My first trip to CBR as well, I'm so excited!! We stayed at Pop last time and that place is always crowded and the noise never bothered me there. Probably because we died once we hit the rooms because we were so tired.

My family is going on its first trip to WDW over spring break next year :) we are traveling with three generations and we are going to stay at CBR. This thread has already answered most questions that have come up for me so far, but I do have a question about the OPR pool. Are there cabanas for rent there? Or umbrellas? Or any shade? Is it just first come first served for shady spots? Thanks in advance!

I think I have asked this before but cannot find it so sorry if it's a repeat. We can't really afford the preferred room upgrade fee. Which buildings would be the next closest? What would you request that are not preferred locations? Thanks for any help!! :)

It's not too far. In the mornings and early afternoon, the Typhoon Lagoon buses and Downtown Disney buses share a bus. They are supposed to run every 20 minutes if not sooner.

We like any of the buildings in Jamaica and our longest walk from the furthest Jamaica room to Old Port Royale was 6 minutes at a leisurely pace. The non-preferred Martinique buildings would be a good request as well.
