Resort Thread Disney's BOARDWALK INN Resort

We are renting points at BWV but will ask for daily cleaning at check in. Do they provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap? Thank you.

Agreed. Trattoria was one of the few restaurants where you could get a decent breakfast at a reasonable price. They have now taken the same scrambled eggs that used to cost $12, given it a fancy name, and raised the price to $34 because of the characters. I understand the attraction of these kinds of breakfasts, but how many times can a family of 4 spend $100 for breakfast. Never mind that Cape May, a 10 minute walk from the Boardwalk, already has a similar breakfast.
Additionally, the parking at the Boardwalk is already chaotic because of the "illegals" parking there and then going to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. I wonder how many people going to Trattoria in the morning and parking at the BW will leave their cars there for the whole day to go to the parks. My guess is that there will be plenty, and if you think that the Boardwalk will enforce any kind of time limit on the parking then you are dreaming.

I'm with you. We do a lot of character breakfasts, but we will probably skip this one. Cape May is a full buffet for the same price. Plus also it seems like the two couples is not enough for the gimmick.

Hi @WDWKOOK Thanks for all you do as always to manage the different threads!

I am thinking of making a breakfast reservation at Trattoria during our stay in November, but hey, I've been obsessed with Ariel & Prince Eric since I was a little girl so that couple is probably enough to tempt me, even if the menu isn't super enticing to me. We'll see when it comes to ADR time.

Are the rooms on the boardwalk loud? Thinking about a future trip and if I get lucky enough to book a BW view, should I? My kids will be 5 and 8 and usually we end up in bed around 10 at Disney.

We book BW view routinely. Usually noise is not a problem as long as the doors & windows are closed. Occasionally, when we've been on a lower floor and a performer happens to be directly below us, we've heard a little crowd noise. But they usually wind down by 10.

We always have a Boardwalk view and have never had issues with the noise. It should be noted I have very sensitive hearing and can easily hear soft noises while wearing earplugs. It could be I just like the noises of the Boardwalk too:rolleyes1

Great! I don't mind a little noise, I just didn't want it to be at all hours.... though we do use white noise so I guess it wouldn't be that bad. Thanks for the input!

We just got our room ready text for BWI booked std and got 4275..does anyone know what classification this room is?

We are here now. This is my new favorite resort. DD age 4 loves the kiddie pool with the spraying elephant. We are in a BWV studio and I love the renovations. She enjoyed the Dumbo bed! The slide is still closed. The community hall pool is open. There is no painting going on near our balcony. We are third floor standard view. Let me know if anyone has questions!

Is there any information about when the slide will be reopening? We will be there next week.

My folks leave for their trip in 11 days. Is it safe to say that the construction has finished at BWI? From what I read on this board - this resort does have an elevator but very very long corridors. Any room suggestions for some seniors who DON'T want to be super close to the elevators but also not at the end of the hall. Also do any buildings have better access to walking over to EPCOT?? TIA for your input!
