What's wrong with that? Splash back from the rain? Toddlers can't see out? It's enclosed, not open posts between the railings.
OK that opens up floors 2-4 in both buildings and the 5th floor in the north building. None of the floor 2 rooms have a walkout patio (they are not at true ground level). If you don't mind a walk from the elevators there are several great standard view studios on the 2-4th floor in the south building at the very south end (x123-x125,x131-x133), where x is the floor number 2-4. Note most of the Studios are available as part of a 2br lock off so they have an adjoining interior door (which can add some noise).Boardwalk Villa Studio, standard (cheap) view, rented points through the other big broker.
Correct, toddlers cannot see out. They might be tempted to stand on a chair and you wouldn't want that. What's wrong with that? Splash back from the rain? Toddlers can't see out?
Nothing wrong but some guests want a fuller balcony view without the need to standup or lean on the balcony wall. Again this is only an issue on the "True" Boardwalk View Studio rooms on the 5th floor. What's wrong with that? Splash back from the rain? Toddlers can't see out?
We will be staying at BWV for 2 nights then moving over to Poly Villas. Hubby and I have ECV's and we are thinking about riding them over to the Studios rather than take the boat. Does anyone know how long it might take us to ride over?
In terms of studios at the BWV I have to say when I stayed in 2015, I felt I hit the jackpot with my view.

Seriously how long does it take to paint a building? We were at the BWI CL the end of Feb. this year and they were painting and scraping the Inn side then. The painting didn't really bother us but the drilling noise from the work going on inside the Flying Fish was a bit much at times. My husband and I kept joking about it and saying at least they will be done with it when we return in Dec. Looks like that may not be the case from what I'm reading and seeing on the Dis boards. I did get the letter warning us about work going on at the hotel for our upcoming trip but I was thinking that maybe they were just being careful and that heck they should be done by now!Walked around a bit more today. Construction is heavy on the Inn side whole area between bell vue lounge and pool.
My villa facing Luna park still sees no construction or noise. Seems most is on Inn side currently aside from the work around the quiet pool at the villas.
Does anyone know if the reported work around the quiet pool affects the BWV barbecue? Oddly specific question, I know.
We're arriving on Saturday for 2 preferred studios. I've got a bag of charcoal and hamburgers I may nix from my Garden Grocer order if there is not a BBQ to grill them on at the moment.
Many thanks.
