That is one, umm, cozy balcony, but at least you got a king bed which is MUCH larger than that balcony. Hope your first full day is filled with FUN! Thanks for the photos! We got in to Boardwalk last night. After a long day of traveling (we waited almost 40 minutes for ME too and my wedding dress hanger left me with a big bruise on my palm from carrying it around all day) we were very happy to see our room at BWI fit our #1 request: a King Bed!View attachment 114378
The congratulatory balloon was also a nice touch! We got the email that our room was ready before our plane even left Salt Lake City!
My only bummer with the room is our teeny tiny balcony. No sitting out here for us together - there's only one chair.View attachment 114381
Overall though we're thrilled with the room and will be very happy here through next Sunday.

Hello all! I wanted to share a few pictures from my Disneymoon last year. We stayed in a boardwalk view studio room at BWV. It was heavenly to walk onto our balcony in the morning and soak in the view! It was a wonderful stay.

I would choose the extra night tooThose are terrific pictures, and an amazing view to enjoy every morning. We had booked a BWV view this year, but changed it to a standard view to get an extra night stay. I'm thinking that maybe I should have went with the view.
I would choose the extra night tooThat view is amazing, but I'd always choose to extend the "magic" as long as possible...you can find a bench (or even a swing at BC) somewhere around crescent lake where you can sit and take in the gorgeous view! DH and I did this when we were at BC in June. I wouldn't pay for the view from my room unless I were planning on spending a lot of time there (and I know some people do).
FFC was one of the main reasons why we booked to stay here next year. I think it's very poor practice by Disney to not announce updates/closures before selling holidays. I booked a holiday at a resort that included a deluxe dining option, and I won't have one on my visit.
Have a great mother/daughter trip.Leaving today, staying at the Poly for 3 nights, then moving home to BWV for 5 nights!! So excited (but I stress out, until we are safely on the plane LOL), first ever mother daughter only trip!!
We are a family of 5 looking to book a Studio at BWV. DVC by request indicates that Disney won't let them book 5 into a Studio, and my attempts to book a Studio with cash for 5 guests have also been unsuccessful because our party "exceeds maximum capacity." Has anyone booked 5 into a studio yet? Seems like there should be plenty of refurbed Studios by now. If not, has anyone heard when 5 in a studio might be possible?
