Guess it will be the DVC pool for us--we are not fans of the Luna Park pool area--not at all--but for Leaping Horse Libations on our way back to our room after an afternoon without children yelling and screaming while enjoying the serenity of the Inn leisure pool.
Tell us how you really feel @Tess!![]()

Oh well, c'est la vie. Great photos.
I've tried every hotel waterslide on WDW property. The one at the Boardwalk is the best! The quiet pool a little further away looks more our style. I’m sure we will go to the main pool to try out the waterslide a few times but I think our family will prefer the quiet pools also. I guess we’ll see.. Can’t wait.

We've probably stayed at the Boardwalk more times than any other WDW hotel.awesome! Can’t wait to try it.
On another note, the entire Crescent Lake area outside of the Boardwalk ( including the Beach and Yacht Clubs) is my favorite area on all of WDW property. I just think it is so well laid out and beautiful. Can’t wait to be able to stay there for the first time (7 nights).
We will be doing a lot of afternoon resort time this year so it’s great to have such an amazing location to do so!!!

The quiet pools tend to be very quiet - mostly adults laying in the sun or gently waddling about in the water.
The main pool (Luna Park) tends to attract families. Then there are Cast Members entertaining the crowd with games and loud music. Luna Park also has the bar (Leaping Horse Libations).
It really depends on what you are in the mood for.
I'm pretty sure they are open till at least 10 PM, maybe even 11 PM, although the bar is not.Cocktails in the afternoon or at night while relaxing by the pool? Yes please!! I am guessing that we will mix it up and spend time in both pools depending on our mood.
Do you know what time the pools close in the summer months? Hopefully not too early.

We tend to be back in the room at 9 or 10 and are ready to go to sleep, so we don't spend a lot of time at the pools at night.
I don't recall seeing lifeguards at the quiet pool. They are all over the place at the main pool.Ok thank you. That’s the only bummer about the pools in recent years. Since they have to hire lifeguards, they now close the pools earlier. We used to be able to close down the parks and still have as much time as we wanted swimming in the resort quiet pools. I understand why Disney does it for safety reasons but it is still a major bummer for us.

Another shop reopening is a good sign! Wyland Gallery at Boardwalk opens back up tomorrow

Disney doesn’t have lifeguards at the leisure pools. While posted hours at the leisure pools are generally 7am-11pm, oftentimes (so long as you aren’t creating a loud ruckus) Disney is not particularly strict with this enforcement. Sometimes they may be, oftentimes they aren’t.
Some resorts have access controls on the leisure pool gates that won’t allow access past 11pm, but those that don’t are relative accessible, again, so long as you’re not causing a big scene. Generally speaking (key phrase).
That would be excellent, and thank you for the info! Our previous stay in 2018 was at POP and I think all pools were locked off at 10 pm or so. It was really early. Some nights they were closed by the time we got back from the parks. One of our favorite things to do is have a cocktail and relax by the pool to cool our bodies and feet after a long day.

...oh GREAT! Now I'll NEVER get to sleep tonight.....No Thanks! Our first stay at the BWV is late July and I'm so happy to see the clown gone. We're not scared of clowns or anything but it was just plain weird. I get that it had to do with the old school Boardwalk amusement park vibe, but I think most saw it like this:
