I got one today also, and we don't go until June.

I just saw a link of what the BWI looks like right now on the Rumor board! Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this, so now I'm hoping that they get done with that before we arrive at the end of the month. The whole main entrance is encased in scaffolding and walls are all along the village green area. Knowing my luck with walls I will probably be put in one of the "new" CL rooms that overlook the village green and the walls. I will just keep thinking happy thoughts for the next three weeks.
Could you please share the link to that photograph?
Thanks! Looks like more painting. . .that shouldn't take long.![]()
Thank you for adding the link for me. I hope the painting is done soon, but DisGuy I am sure it will be done by the time your trip comes around. Or I should say as sure as one can be about these things when it comes to Disney.
Enjoy! The Cast Members that work on the CL floor in the lounge and at the desk are wonderful. My kids still talk about our last trip to BWI CL the cast members had that much of an impact on our trip! Happy birthday! We got our letter on Monday. We arrive in about two weeks for our first ever stay at BWI. Trying out CL for my 40th birthday. Not too worried, will have fun no matter what.

Per the wdwinfo website, the Luna Park pool was closed 2/1 through today (2/4), so it should be open for your Saturday arrival. We never got a letter about construction. We arrive on Saturday so there is obviously some going on. I just hope the pool is open.

Didn't know about that- Thank you!Just a reminder, Les Halles in the France pavilion, opens at 9:00 a.m. It offers a tasty variety of items for breakfast that contain protein versus simply bread/baked goods.![]()
Can you tell us more about the tour? We've stayed at BW lots of times and I've never seen or heard about the tour. Sounds fun.We did the Boardwalk Ballyhoo guided tour on our last trip..and the guide mentioned that FF would be closed for renovations soon...(he did not give a particular time frame)....although he did not mention SS..which is such a charming shop...and where we concluded the tour with complimentary ice cream for our whole group....Sure hope that if they do expand FF..they will just relocate SS....
The tour starts at 9:00 AM at the Belle Vue Lounge and lasts for about 90 min. or so. You don't really sign up just sit in the lounge area a little before 9:00 and someone will walk in and ask if anyone is waiting for the tour. As stated previously it is a free tour (how often in Disney can you say that?) that gives you some history about the background of the resort. We really enjoyed it and on our tour we did end at the Sweet Shop for some free ice cream. I can't find what days though I know it's not everyday, we did the tour on a Saturday with about 6 other guests. Can you tell us more about the tour? How do you sign up? Where does it start? How often/what time does it happen? How long is it?
