Ok, so i was on the waiting list for BCR for my trip in August, and a spot opened up!!!! :cool1: My brother and i are super excited. Any tips about the beach club? I know from my own experience that there ice cream is really good. Is the pool there cool?? It looks cool, but i've never been in it :0

I've never stayed there, but I heard many, many good things about the place. I almost stayed there on my first trip, but we all agreed on AKL and we had friends down there the same time as us that stayed there, so I know a bit about it. One thing is its one of the BoardWalk resorts so you can check out the Yacht Club and the Boardwalk Inn from there. Also, the vicinity to Epcot is uncanny, you don't need to take a bus just walk right to there. I heard it can get very loud at night near the resort because of the Boardwalk, but that may have been the only downside. I heard Beaches N' Cream, kinda the big name in dining over there is nice, so check it out. Well... that's all I know, I'm sure someone on here has actually stayed there, but just for now. Hope this helps and have fun on your trip!

Thank you!! I've head Beaches 'n' Cream, and its very good. I know that the boardwalk is right across the water, and ive taken the walkway from the boardwalk to epcot. It's pretty cool ot having to worry about parking or anything,, you just walk to the park and go!

this is going to sound really stupid and small, but in the sand bottom pool, near the center by the raft rental, is a floating sign for "sinking sand". wait in that area for 5-10 minutes. becasue the pool vents are in that location, every once and a while the sand with loosen and you'll sink to your knees. it's such a different sensation plus it's hilarious to watch people who have no clue it's there, they'll just drop and it can get pretty funny! then after a few minutes the sand will harden around your legs, but it's easy to wiggle out of!

If you want your room to be close to the elevator and/or if you want a full balcony, be sure to request it before you arrive! I didn't realize how far away my room would end up being from any elevator, and my "balcony" was only big enough for one person to stand on.
Otherwise, I <3 Beach Club! It's my favorite resort!

@LittleMissMusic: thats hilarious. I can't wait to watch them!
@katiee37: I have the same name as you, but anyway, thank you for that tip. that will come in handy after a long day at a park and you just want to get to bed.

Sorry it took so long to reply i was in WDw for 5 days, until May 4th, and then until this past thursday, i had state tests. :(

I just stayed there this summer and i thought the pool area was fantastic!
The BC was beautiful and veryyy close to Epcot which was great becasue
we love it there. The Beaches and Cream was DELICIOUS!
The only thing i would say is that it had a very bad drink station to fill your mugs, because there was only 1, and there was always a humongous line of ppl waiting to get drinks. thats stupid for such a large hotel. That was the only thing that really ticked me off.
But other than that...BC is a great choice!:thumbsup2

I've been there before. I love it there!! The pool is awesome and you should go to Beaches and Cream.

You should be sure to buy Park Hoppers, since Epcot is SO close and you can just stroll in for dinner each night after a day at the Magic Kingdom, etc.

Beaches and Cream is also good, however if you're in a hurry they have it to-go.

You'll have a great trip, just beware that the pool can get super duper crowded (but that can happen at any of the hotels), and don't forget to explore the boardwalk!

ive stayed there and its one of my favorite hotels the pool is awesome i love how it has sand at the bottom and the arcade is really cool cause if the weather is bad all the games are free. i also like the location because its walking distance to epcot with its own entrance so that was cool to.

That is my home resort!!!!!!!!! The pool there, in my opinion is the best out of all of the Disney resorts pools! Hurray for Stormalong Bay!!!!!!

Thanks for all the tip guys!! I am an annual passholder, so I can go to the parks as often as I want!

I LOVE the Beach Club. One of my favourite parts is being able to see and hear Illuminations from the bridge/beach/your balcony.

favorite disney resort BY FAR ! i lovelovelove the sand bottom pool, and the whole theme of the resort. theres also a couple spots when youre in the pool where you can watch illuminations !
you 'll love it :)

Thanks guys!! I am rwally looking forward to it!! Illuminations is by far my favorite WDW fireworks show!!
