WooHoo! :cool1: We are staying LM too. YES, there are elevators. Hope you have a great time!

Thanks so much for the reply. We will be traveling with my DSD6 and my DS who will be almost 10 months at the time of the trip, so an elevator will be helpful with the stroller and everything!

We're also in the LM rooms from 11/24 on. There should be a big group of us as I believe the rooms are filled. Can't wait!

I think I'm the most excited out of everyone! This will be my first trip as a Mommy and I can't wait to see my DSD6 reaction to everything. She went with her Mommy when she was 3, so it's not her first trip but it's her first trip with me and her Daddy. My DS will also be with us and he will be almost 10 months at the time, I'm interested in seeing how he reacts to the characters. :)

With a stroller I prefer the ground floor rooms, so you can just open the door and roll out. With the exterior-facing doors in the LM section this will be easy.

I'll be at aoa in a lm room nov24-1st and I'm so excited :) haven't been back to Disney since I was a baby!

Alligator Bayou Buildings at Port Orleans Riverside don't have elevators. They are 2 floors.

We are going to AoA on November 23 and staying in the Little Mermaid rooms too! We got a free dining pin code for those dates and I can't wait - I think I'm more excited than the kids :-)

Well, I guess they would just have all of their handicap accessible rooms on the first floor. But really, I would think any resort more than 2 floors would have elevators. I mean, I don't have a disability, and I don't want to hike it up more than one floor, especially after a 12 hour or more park day.

I think that is a great idea!! I would love to find out how many DIS peeps are staying in AoA in LM rooms in late November.
Then that's what we will have to do. We'll have a Nov. AoA LM or a Nov. AoA Thread.

You're going to have so much fun! That's very exciting!

You'll be there when we are. I'm already antsy about going and it's still over 3 months away!

Is it more than one floor?

Yes, it's two floors, but they are good with the 'handicapped'. They put those of us rolling around on wheels on the first floor near the main building. Merrily we roll along :rolleyes1 :lmao:

You are so lucky, we couldn't get FD. :( But, I'm just happy as can be that I'm going! :yay: <------ No, I can't really jump up and down like that, but my heart and soul are. LOL

I am a bit irritated that I cannot get DH to like the fact that we are going. He is not excited, even when DD4 talks about it (we're first timers), and he is generally miserable. Anytime I tell him about our plans, he says he does not care. I am glad I am the one in charge (I am very organized), but I think until he sees DD's face, it it useless trying to get him excited. :(

I've read through the thread but if my questions have been asked already, I missed it.

We're looking to stay in the LK section.

My questions...

1) Do both bathrooms have showers?

2) How many floors high are the buildings?

3) Is there a spot where we can sip a cocktail?

Thx in advance for any info.

In the suites, both bathrooms have showers.

All buildings at AoA have four floors.

There is a poolside bar called The Drop Off in the Nemo section, if that is the kind of cocktail sipping spot you're asking about.

87 days until Cars suite!

We are so excited, and depending on how much we like AoA we may book again for next November as well!

I can't wait to stay at this hotel!!!! One month from today and my family and I will be here. We are staying in a Nemo suite. Oh yea, we have free dining too( upgraded to reg dining plan)
