I spent April 13-21 at Pop Century and snapped a few pictures of the work that is going on at AoA. From what I saw, it appears that they have not yet touched any of the previously built buildings. Instead, they were working on new buildings. As we left, we could see that they were doing some work near the road, almost like they were getting ready to put a sign in the ground. That just seems too early to me.

Oops, I just realized that I didn't upload all of my photos. I'll do that soon and post them on here. I just have one at the moment.


We could also see from the main road that they are slowly painting what I assume is the main building. It looked very pretty and colorful.

The constrcution photos are exciting and kind of sad to me at the same time. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what they do with this hotel, but it's also a reminder that those buildings could have easily been the Legendary Years... (Yes, I'm aware that I have some issues about this.) I really hope they at least keep the bridge the same as it is, if nothing else. Now the only hope left for Pop is if they refurb what's there to make it themed to the full century- it has 10 buildings, so they could potentially do it, but I know the chances of that are so slim...
