I think you're right that 7 will have to be the Ursula one. I think Trident's going to be 8, just because that's what I keep on seeing in the concept art, and that's how I imagine the area would look as you enter the LM courtyard coming from LK.

Yeah I agree. I did find the concept art for Trident and his background doesn't quite match the other buldings painted center , unless they changed it up since the concept. I think Ariel will be in # 9 . Cant find any concept art for her building though.

By the way am I the only one that thinks the AOA food menu looks a bit blah/yucky ?

I think the menu looks really good but a bit limited compared to Pop. I hope there's more to it than what was in that article.

I think there's supposed to be a salad section too. In the blog post awhile back there was shrimp pasta featured, and that wasn't on the menus posted today, nor was the Asian food. I think the pictures today are the best we have so far, but I'd be surprised if there aren't more salad, sandwich, and pasta options when AoA opens.

Nope...other than the pizza and the normal burger, I didn't see much else I would eat. There was nothing on the kids menu that would appeal to my DS other than the pizza, either. He is the pickiest out of the four of us (with me being 2nd). I was really hoping to stay at AoA, but it's not lookin' good. :(

There has to be more than that - I don't see the tandoori offerings at all and it has been well reported that they will be there. :confused3 Seems like there are only a couple of pods posted.

Maybe that's why I think it looks so good. I would rather not have burgers, pizza, chicken fingers, etc, so the menu being full of international cuisine and more unique burger offerings and stuff is more appealing to me.

That's one reason I always tried to stay at Pop instead of the All Star resorts, their menus are very basic and boring to me. AoA seems to be the exact opposite.

I can't wait to see the breakfast menus either.

Ditto! Acorn Squash as a side? Tandoori shrimp with naan? Egg white frittata during breakfast (I think I read about that one at least)? I think I died and went to heaven! :cloud9: Even having a veggie burger or crab cake "burger" option makes me SO happy!

I love the sounds of that crab cake burger, though I do find it funny that they're calling it a burger.

I'm excited for the Indian vegetable breakfast sandwich or something with cauliflower and spinach.

Me neither! I bet the breakfast offerings are great.

This is clearly not the whole lunch/dinner menu yet, there were a bunch of things listed on an old Disney Parks Blog post that weren't even on those menus. But so far so good! I'm excited for some different food choices other than just regular old theme park food.

I am 110% in agreement! I :love:love:love: the idea of unique/healthy options, and can guarantee that my kids will be stealing food off of my plate if they only have "traditional kid food" offerings. Last year my DS (then 7) told us he was "sick of being a kid at Disney", and asked "Why do they think kids only like hot dogs, nuggets, pizza, and PBJ? That's crap! I want real food like you!". Needless to say, he got in a bit of trouble for his choice of words... but he did have a point. He was thrilled when I showed him the article about AoA food offerings!

I just changed our reservations from POR to AoA :) I am so excited! DD5 is a HUGE Ariel fan so I couldn't resist. I am excited to read and learn more! We will be in the Little Mermaid section from October 21st- October 27th

Same here. My kids wont eat wild rice , acorn squash , or most of that stuff.

Its not that we dont eat healthy , its just that healthy stuff for us would be asparagus , steamed carrots , baked potatoes , baked chicken , etc . . And all of that without exotic spices or toppings for allergy reasons, as well as the fact that my kids palates are not very sophisticated as of yet. We do love lots of organic fruit as well. I guess we will be picking that up at the grocery store.

Some of the mongolian grill stuff looks ok for myself , but if they use any nut oils that is totally out. Guess we will have to wait and see.

The menu doesn't appeal to me much either but we don't eat at the resort alot so it's not a deal breaker for us. The one thing that sounds yummy is the Cheesy Pesto Bread.

All value standard rooms either have a king or 2 doubles. Were you expecting them to be queens???

In the suites you do get one Queen size bed in the master bedroom which is a nice perk. It is listed on waltdisneyworld.com under room descriptions. The table bed and sofa beds are doubles as well as the two beds in the LM rooms.

I LOVE the menu!!! I hope there are even more healthy options. My kids don't eat chicken nuggets or hot dogs. They always want what we eat and we do eat healthy at home. We also don't shy from spices. I really hope there are some spicy dishes offered. I have heard in the past from others that Disney doesn't make things really spicy as a whole. I am thankful for some different options....and I LOVE acorn squash. And I love the fish option. I am sure the whole menu isn't up and that these are just a few of the items offered, as mentioned by others. But these options look great. :lovestruc

Yep! Just thought that since they seemed to be doing away with them in the mods that they would also put them in a new value. Guess the room size can't accommodate them.

I think they keep the values with doubles to give the mods an edge over the values--especially now that all the values have the fridges.

Correct. The suites are different than the standard rooms and do include a single queen bed.:thumbsup2

Probably. :goodvibes. I have to admit- with the great look of the resort, I WAS starting wonder why anyone with little ones wouldn't stay there. :)

I have to admit a lot of the menu doesn't appeal to me too, but we don't eat a lot at the resort either, so we'll make do.
