DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM meal plus certificates

Just wondering if the certificates are separate

One counter service entree plus a beverage at any of the following: Animal Kingdom
counter service restaurants:
Restaurantosaurus, Flame Tree Barbecue, Pizzafari, Tusker House.
One box of popcorn or an ice cream bar
One bottled drink (soda or water)

Is the entree certificate separate from the popcorn and soda one? It doesn't all have to be used at once, does it? Can the entree come with a side such as the:
1/2 Rotisserie Chicken served with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables ? Sorry if this is confusing. TYIA

When you place your order, the cashier will give a voucher to use later. One part is for the drink, the other part is for the ice cream or popcorn.

I'm not sure about the adult voucher, but with the kids voucher I was not able to change what was offered with the meal. I asked for fries instead of chips at Flame Tree and was unable to get them.

I wish they offered this deal at the other parks.

We got ours at Pizzasafari at the register.

They sell them at all the locations that accept them The ice cream coupon is separate from the drink coupon which is separate from the meal. I am almost certain the meal is one of the meals listed on the menu and does not include extras/substituions but we have never used them at Tusker House.

Are the kids meals at Pizzafari a personal pizza and a drink? Is the size of the kids pizza comparable to a personal pizza from Pizza Hut? I was just wondering if the kids meal voucher might be enough for a lunch for me on a day we are eating a big dinner. With the ice cream/popcorn snack later I suspect it might be enough.

We bought ours at the Flametree BBQ last week - I got ribs (came with beans and corn on the cob)and a large soda with my entree - my son got the mini-hot dogs (2) with chips and a childs soda for his.

Later, he had a mickey bar and a popcorn (I share ), and we also got a bottle of soda and a large dasani (with sport top) with our vouchers.

All in all, I'd say we got $24.50 worth of food for $18 - a pretty good deal....

We fed a family of 5 (our kids were 9, 6, and 2) with two kids meals and an extra personal pizza. The pizzas are a little bigger than Pizza Hut (just slightly) and you get a drink and chips with it.

For the meal deal it's 5.99. And at Pizzafari, the childrens pizza is the same pizza they sell on the adult menu! You will come out way ahead, and be able to get a drink & the popcorn/ice cream & drink later in the day too! This is what we are going to do!

I've also heard that if you get a juice with the kids meal deal, it is a large bottled juice, compared to the small drink that comes with the kids meal!

Just a FYI I read a post a couple of days ago that stated they started selling these vouchers at the 2 water parks also.

You're kidding? Selling them at the water parks? I would love to know more about this, before I lug a bunch of snacks in! (Not that we need alot that day, as we will be dining at Ohana that night!) Thanks for the info!!!

I was able to get any side with my meal voucher in
Jan. 04 I bought mine at Tusker House and got the cheese burger, but did not want the fries, asked if I could change it and the CM said that I could chose any side that was offered at that location, steamed vegatables, grapes, chips or fries. It is entered on a seperate line on the registar, so it was adjustable. At other locations they may not have set up the registar to add the side on a seperate line, therefore no changes can take place
