Does anyone here use the DIS mobile app? Was gonna post some pics for everyone but they are all on my phone and not on my PC yet. Don't think you can post pics from the mobile app?

You can if you post the picture from photobucket. Photobucket has a mobile app. You upload the photo and then post the image link using the dis app

We returned from a wonderful trip at the beginning of Sept, but for many reasons, I didn't get around to posting very much.

I don't recall seeing anyone mention gluten-free zebra domes before. I know previous trips we were always told they weren't safe for us (celiac's). However, this trip, not only could we have those, but Chef Dave brought us an awesome tray of goodies (Boma).

WHAAAAAAT? NO WAY! I resigned myself to knowing I couldn't get the zebra domes, and now I can?!

Also since it's less than 7 months it might be hard to get Jambo anyway, but Kidani should be easier. Good luck!

Ok.. so we are 28 days away and I have done my online check in. I have two room numbers that are what we booked for (standard). Can I call and ask for either of these rooms for our trip and hope they can get us in there?

Yep, they are quite good. I was always slightly jealous of those who could eat zebra domes. Now I know I had every reason to be.

I would call and ask for those room numbers but then also why you like those rooms, in case those aren't available, but other similar ones are. E.g., xxxx or yyyy or other people pen view rooms.

We are officially in single digits!!!! We're staying in a 1 bedroom suite (Jambo House) with 3 kids under the age of 5. Any suggestions on what view requests we should select when doing online check-in or do we have much of a choice since there are a limited number of suites?

I switched to Port Orleans Riverside from AKL for our Sept.2015 bounce back. I was able to save $350 and booked a Royal Room (pool view) vs standard room at AKL. We will spend 1-2 afternoons (3hrs to relax or swim) at the resort during the week and 1 evening. Did I make a bad decision?? Would you pay the extra to stay at AKL in a standard room?
