It's not real.

See "Any truth to this '5th park' article posted by our local NJ radio Station?" at http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2184170

Please don't take this as an attack, but it's good idea to scroll down a page or two on this board to see if the same topic already has a thread.

Thanks. I didn't have a lot of time to read through pages of posts, so I figured I would quickly ask the question, and hope that a nice disser would answer....;)

I'd take it your MIL is a Disney bus driver? That's certainly the only way she would be able to get information like this! :rotfl2: :rotfl2::rotfl2:

This park idea has been tossed around for years and put in mulitple palces. It all started when disney confirmed in '93 they were looking in Virginia to put the Disney's America park. Well it never came to be and ever since then rumors have placed the park all over America.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! Sorry, I lived in N.J. for the first 48 years of my life before moving to Florida, and I think it is funny that one would think Disney would build anything (except stores} in N.J.
Absolutley no offense to the good folks {not the politicians} of the state of N.J., {most of my family still lives there} but after paying outrageous taxes for many years, I know that Disney would never be able to get the huge tax breaks they get here in Florida in the garden state. It's just laughable..............but I'm not laughing.

I still believe that a Disney's America would we the ideal 3rd/5th park. All of the previous theme parks originated from things Walt loved. Disneyland/Magic Kingdom- he made those himself. Epcot- he was planning on making this park. DHS- he was a great film-maker. Animal Kingdom- he loved animals and wanted real ones for the jungle cruise attractions. The only exceptions I see to this are DisneySea and California Adventure. And guess what, right now I view California Adventure as the worst park right now.

Anyhow, Walt loved America and its history, as we can see from Hall of Presidents, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, and the American Adventure. I just don't see that he would have been on board with a Night Kingdom/ Villains Park. In conclusion, I would really like to see a Disney's America before I die.
