We are headed to All star sports in 18 day, but who's counting...hahaha!! I had a few questions though and was hoping someone could help answer them.
1. Where do they show the nightly movies on the property?
Thanks in advance!!
yikes!
wishing you the best on the surgery.
i can remember when you had the other surgical procedures done.
when i had my meniscus repair, i was told next step is the knee replacement.
take notes and share with me as who knows when i go through it.....
on another note, my mom had her knee replacement when she was 83 and she healed fine with no walking issues later.
i know you will completely enjoy that last May trip before surgery!
i remember reading you still had issues after that first surgery.
was hopeful the meniscus work done would improve your knee problems not create more damage.
you can never go wrong staying at Sports!
i just love that place.
I am *thinking* of switching to Sports from Pop for our September trip. Ive stayed at Sports in the past but never at Pop and other than the buses (which Sports is the first pick up/drop off anyway), I can't seem to find much of a difference. And Sports is $75 cheaper..
In your opinion, would a preferred room be worth it? It will just be me and my son (he'll be 3). I never really think it's worth it much to pay for a preferred anywhere but it just may be worth it being just me and him.
I don't think you can go wrong with a standard room at Sports unless you are going during a time when there are sports competitions going on, such as POP Warner or the cheerleading stuff. September should be a great time to book a standard room. Sports isn't that big as Pop Century.
Good Luck!!
Awesome. I think I am going to make the switch to save the money and save Pop for another timeThank you!
I was at Sports 2/1-2/5. We got Touchdown, 7. Second floor. SO close to everything, I loved the location! The weekend before was dance team competition, and the weekend after cheer. So we basically arrived as the dance teams left and left as the cheer teams arrived. It worked out perfectly. Even with the cheer teams practicing on Friday morning we didn't hear the noise due to our room location. Many, many times we had dedicated buses and didn't have to share. I also really loved the food court options and the staff who worked there!
Currently a 9:00 PM close.Going to be there in a couple weeks, can't wait. Anyone know the pool hours? The first page says midnight, didn't know if that changes in the winter months or not. As of now the forecast is 70s lows in the high 50s. I know they close pools when it's cold, but hopefully that won't be an issue.
You will find All Star Sports very comparable to Pop. The rooms are a little smaller, as is the whole resort. The resort buses are sometimes shared with the other All Star Resorts. If you prefer a quiet room, I would not request the Touchdown section. We stayed there over the holidays and there were sports groups playing football until after midnight in front of our room. We stay in the value resorts on almost every trip and love them all. The shared buses at All Stars is the only downside for me compared to Pop.Staying at All Star Sports from 2/18 - 2/22. We usually stay at Pop so I imagine it it fairly comparable....I hope so anyway. Any words of advice?
