We just left yesterday and I had paid for a preferred room. Once we got there I quickly realized that no matter what room you have it's not too far of a walk in this resort. Have fun! I'm jealous I was sad to leave!

Is POP bigger? We were in a building towards the back off that resort and I remember it being a pretty long walk to the front of it.

POP is way bigger than AS Sports. We stayed there a few years back and I paid for a preferred room as well. To me I was stuck in the boonies though. 70's building on the 4th floor facing a parking lot. If we ever stay there again I will pay for a preferred pool view. Even the standard rooms at AS Sports are way closer in proximity to the food court and bus stop.

POP is bigger. It has 960 more rooms.

Hey guys! I just found this thread but posted earlier about January.... We are wanting to go Jan 15-19 but there is no availability.. Is there something that I dont know about going on? I thought January would be slow and it's a little cheaper... Anyone know?

We normally stay MOD but my 6 year old is obsessed with football ( and is about to start basketball) so I thought this would be a perfect resort for him to really love.

Here now on day 11 of 13 night stay. We love the resort. We are in surfs up preferred and so close to food court and busses. Pool noise not an issue as we are on back on building one. We had a stay booked at music this coming february and changed to sports after visiting music. We didn't like the feel and layout as much as here plus the busses being first here is a plus. Many a times we go straight to parks and don't stop at the other two all stars. We always have our own bus coming home at night too. It's a great resort and quite honestly the food court was better and cleaner than Caribbean beach we visited earlier this week. For the money it's a great place. We will back in fifteen weeks after we go home! Another countdown!

That is where my room was located a couple of weeks ago. Great spot!

We just stayed here last week for one night. We tried Pop in September for 3 nights and we were just miserable there. I was hesitant to try a value again, but it was a fantastic price with my AP. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I like it! We really enjoyed our very short stay. It was clean and quiet and even the furthest rooms out were just a short walk to everything. The food court wasn't a nightmare like Pop either.

I do have a question though....

Our key to the room safe had a piece of wood attached with a cable along with a tag that informed us of the charge if lost. All that together made it way too big to fit in my pocket or my tiny phone case. Is that normal? The key from Pop wasn't like that. I took a picture of it, but accidentally deleted it.

Sports food court was reopened last December, after being closed for a four month refurbishment. In 2012, the rooms were started and completed in 2013.

Snow is a understatement. Have you seen us here in South Buffalo on the national news? We got 7 feet of snow last week and was on lock down for a few days. Now it has rained and today the temp is 60 degrees out so all the snow is pretty much gone.

Hey everyone. I had to cancel my February Solo Birthday trip because of a work conference. However I did reschedule my trip for the end of January for 3 days instead. Only problem is that Sports was all full so I took a room at AS Music instead. I am such a traitor My ticker days has lessened to 52 days left though
