17 days until check-in! I haven't stayed at ASSP since 1996 (or maybe 1997?), so looking forward to visiting that resort again. We usually stay at ASMU, but heard of possible food court refurb and changed resorts quickly!

I can do online check in tomorrow... what does everyone recommend requesting? We want to be close to Stadium Hall, so I'm thinking I'll request Touchdown since we booked Standard.

stayed touchdown in May. I think it was building 7....was close to baseball pool and less than 5 min walk to main pool and dining hall. I liked it. Our 5 year old had no trouble walking there And back at any point either.

Touchdown is the perfect choice with a standard booking. Very convenient to Stadium Hall. There's also a shortcut to the buses, going around the front, that is particularly useful with a room in building 10.

Touchdown is a great area to be in. It is real close to the food court. Last time I went solo they put me the touchdown section on the opposite side of the field on the ground floor. Can't ask for anything better than that location for booking a standard.

First stay planned at Sports We have stayed at Pop and Movies in the past. In the past we have gotten a large pizza at the food court (not room service) on CS credits. Can someone verify this is available at Sports? What it will include drinks, desserts, etc and how many credits will be used? Thanks!

I just looked up the answer on all ears net. They are saying it is 2 table service credits to get the pizza delivery. Can someone verify this?

true but i believe you also get the soda included.

I think it's 2 counter service credits, not table service, with drinks included. I would also assume you get 2 desserts like normal. The pizza just counts as the entree of the meal.

Hi, I want to be guaranteed a room close to the front (because of refillable mugs) so I was going to get a preferred room, just to be safe.....but, I don't want to be facing the pool (and nighttime pool noise) so where would a quiet preferred room be?

Yes, if you pick it up yourself at the food court, it is 2 counter service credits for a large pizza, 2 desserts, and 2 drinks. If you have it delivered to your room, it is 2 table service credits.

DFi and I switched from ASMo to Sports and I couldn't be happier with the choice! I stayed there on my very first trip back in January 2000 and now DFi will be there for his first trip! We'll be staying October 16th through the 26th! Here's hoping for a pin some time soon!

For all my Sports homies:

Update on my knee surgery. Surgery went smooth yesterday just there for ever and a day. Went almost 24 hours without food or drink. Didn't get a chance to speak with the doctor afterward but upcoming appt. is this coming Thursday, the 24th. He did speak briefly with the hubby and said that there were a few tears in the meniscus that he trimmed out. The best news being that my arthritis isn't as bad as it looked on the x-rays and MRI.

So he shot me up with lidocaine during the surgery. Yesterday when I got home I started walking better right away without the assistance of my newly acquired cane. I was feeling really good. Well this morning the lidocaine decided to wear off. YOWZA!! but the pain isn't as bad as before the surgery so I can deal with it.

Cant wait to get back to the gym.

Those are good requests! If I remember correctly, I checked off Top floor close to transportation.
