So I was about to do online check-in when I got to the questions regarding room preferences (such as near bus stop, high floor, ground floor, etc...) We have already booked a "preferred" room, but just wondering if anyone has some insight on the preferences. Thanks!

It depends on what you like. Upper floor? Close to Elevator? Corner room? Ground floor?

I've never stayed at ASM and I would like to be close to the pool and foodcourt. Is one building closer than the other?

There's multiple preferred rooms in multiple buildings that will give you that. To up your odds, I would call and add requests of "close to main pool" to your reservation. I don't know what the choices are during Online Check In but those are predetermined and usually very limited so I prefer to call so I can request exactly what I want.

Can someone please tell me if there are Refrigerators in the rooms at All Star Movies, I know back in the day 2002 there was not. Or can you rent one if not already in the room. Thanks in Advance Vicky

Every WDW resort room comes with a fridge.

Yes you can. You can request one from housekeeping.

Just got home yesterday and we had a radio alarm clock.

I just checked out today and had a clock in my room. I think as they die, they are just not replacing them. It kind of a hit or miss.

they are starting to take them out of all resorts eventually because they feel they aren't needed since people use their phones. but I like them too

I called and asked if Fantasia building could be added to our Ressie a month ago but when I did online check in I marked " near transportation" . We shall see if I get Fantasia ( because my DD8 wants to be close to the pool) or Dalmations which in my opinion is nearer the busses and food court( which is what I want so less walking)
I booked a preferred room so we could be in Toy Story buildings too - which are the furthest preferred rooms from the food court,pool and busses( in my opinion) .
All are just a short walk so in the end I'll be OK with what we get.

Yes. Box fans are available on a 1st come, 1st served basis.
