Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES Resort

another silly question from a newbie,

if someone is calling our room at ASMo, for example from canada, will i have any additional charges for the phone call on my bill at check out

I have booked a preferred section. Can anyone tell me which building is closest to the food court? I tend to use the refillable mugs quite a lot and would love to be as close as possible. (I know I am lazy, but the less people I have to encounter before I have had my morning coffee the better:thumbsup2)

The three preferred sections are Toy Story, Fantasia, and 101 Dalmatians. Any of them could be really close to the food court, and some sections could be farther. If it is that important, you could put in a request to be close to the food court. I was in the back of Dalmatians, and it seemed really short to me, but then again, I'm not a coffee drinker!!!

I really wanted to stay in the Fantasia room! I hope fantasia has wheelchair access?

Do all of the showers have the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers? Just thinking that is 3 less things I have to pack if so.:goodvibes

We were there in January. They have a small round soap bar, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. But they're little bottles. They do replace them daily if you use them.

Um, no

While they may be close enough, the roads are NOT set up for pedestrian traffic. It is not safe. Furthest you whould walk is out to the McDonalds outside the All Star's gate.

Animal Kingdom would be TOO FAR for sure.

I have never had an issue with bus transportation at ASMo.

That has changed. You can actually walk all the way from All-Stars to Coronado Springs. It does involve crossing Buena Vista twice at traffic lights but it can be done. I've done it. The sidewalk does pass Blizzard Beach.

Fantasia building has accessible rooms and Mighty Ducks has accessible rooms.

Fantasia is preferred and Mighty Ducks is standard

I don't know if this is a better question to ask at the POP thread... But here it goes we have been twice now to Disney and both times stayed at Movies we Loved it however this time we thought we would try a change and now that we are two months out I'm second guessing myself for changing to POP any of you who have stayed at both what are the differecnes or is is pretty much the same as they are both values....
