Resort Thread Disney's ALL-STAR MOVIES Resort

They are all prefferred. No one knows about the visitors parking pass (If I have a day guest?)
Thank you. I believe you can get a pass I can't remember where but I thought someone was saying you could get a pass to see the resorts without being a guest. I would call the resort directly at (407)939-7000 and ask.

Thats why I love this site. We all have different and equally valuable info and experience to share:grouphug:

i need to know is the swimming pool in the all star movies. Which swimming pool is rehab. It is the fantasia pool or the mighty ducks pool. Please! tell me?

Staying at ASMo in July - 1st time there; requested Toy Story. Can anyone tell me the advantages of top floor vs. bottom floor, or does it matter?

My parents are staying at ASMO for the first time from Feb. 12-16. THey are currently in a standard class. What should they request if they stay in a standard? If they ask to be upgraded to a preferred room what should they request? I know they would like the Toy Story section the best, but what building or block should they ask for?

Toy Story is a preferred sectiom. Along with Fantasia, and Dalmations. If they paid for standard, they may get pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to one of those. They should expect, howerer, to get Mighty Ducks, or Herbie. Since thats what they paid for:wave2:

Are the disabled Roll in Shower rooms in all buildings? We just booked standard and am wondering if I can upgrade with these rooms or are they limited to certain buildings?

Thank you

Charleyann

i wanted to be in fantasia because i love it. I hope our family will stay there. i love ASMO. I wish that The Incredibles building will be in the all star movies. Oh! one more thing. Do you know the name of the store in the all star movies? It is maybe Donald's Double Feature. This is the name of the store. Please! Tell me this is correct the name of the store is Donald's Double Feature in the all star movies? Which all star Movies themes has Preferred rates?

Well, I think this thread has convinced me to go with ASMo! We will try to get the Buzz building, DS3 is a huge Toy Story fan. Thanks for all the information...now only 10 months to go!

Even if you don't get the toy story building, definitely take him there, the courtyard is fun for the kids.

Oh, we definitely will try to visit all the areas to see the rest of ASMo. I am keeping my fingers crossed...but we will have fun anywhere!

We really wanted the Dalmation section. I called a week before and 'reminded' them I wanted that. They said that the rooms still hadn't been designated.
I called them again two days before and 'reminded' them again. They said that they would put it in the system again.
We got there and.....we were in Dalmations!!

So it pays to be persistent and remind them!

(and this was in August, busy season, with two rooms, one for us and one for our other family) and we still got it! Be sure to tell them that your son is a huge Toy Story fan. It is funny, when we got one of our things in the mail from the Disney Travel Company with our info on it, beside our room it said "Kids are huge Dalmation fans" So they do put these things in and consider them!

Good luck, I hope you get what you are hoping for!!:)

Thanks for the good wishes! I am hoping for the best and I will be persistent.:thumbsup2 We are just really excited to be going to WDW again and it will take a lot to upset us.

Thank you for all the hard work put into this thread. There is a ton of great information in here.
I will be leaving for ASMO's next week and this thread really has me excited to stay here.

At what point do I request a fridge? My sister will need one for her medicine.

I made all of my room requests (Pref room, quiet (away from pool), pref Dalmations, crib, and non-smoking for med reasons) when I booked, and re-confirmed them when I switched to a package inc dining (which actually meant cancelling my old ressie and making a whole new deposit (I'll get a refund for the old one:confused3 )

I am so excited to have one last trip with my big girl before college:banana: and my first with the new little family boss:woohoo:

This may be a silly ? but does anyone know what kind of sweetner do they have at WDW? I use Splenda, do they have Equal or the pink stuff.
Also, what is the brand of coffee served at the hotel and in the parks?

I am trying to figure out what to pack for the extras. Thanks for any help!!!!
