I checked my online check in and it has saved my 2nd option (higher floor) but not the first option (daughter wants to stay at fantasia).... it just won't save. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm thinking I will need to call to see if someone can help me monday?

Yes. They are still having issues.

Definitely. It's always best to phone your requests in and just skip the room request section of Online Check In.

It is scheduled for renovation any time now- it says winter 2018- so should start soon.

So, for online check-in... if I want a Buzz or Woody view, I'd need to request Toy Story section with a landscape view to not face the parking lot? And obviously towards the middle of the building?

The best source for details on refurbs is right here on the DIS. WDW does not like to release details.

I would assume they won't start a refurb at ASMo until Pop is finished at least.

Not yet. The chatter usually starts a couple weeks before they begin. And as @bigbabyblues stated, it probably won't start until Pop is done.

We were debating on renting a car.... how's do the bus's run? We are pretty patient but not sure if we should go the rental car route or not. It'll of course save money not to rent...
